    • There's esoteric meaning to the story. She said she believed in Neo, but not 'The One'. Neo said the prophecy of 'The One' was a lie. This means that there was never one individual person destined to save humanity, but a person who believed in himself and in love could save everything by bringing harmony and balance to the system. He simply had to 'overcome the world' (the matrix, the system).

  • The Architect tells Neo "There are levels of survival we are prepared to accept" when Neo proposes he refuse to return to the Source. Clearly, some of the machines WEREN'T prepared to accept it. Maybe the Architect couldn't see this, because he was hyperfocused only on his own role of overseeing the Matrix and didn't understand behaviors other programs might display from a different point of view.

    • the whole movie is about their hatred for Hollywood forcing them to make these movies like an assembly line. So they rebel and make it as they see fit, even if it doesn't make sense. • If the machines in Io really wanted the cycle to end they would help humanity remove the weather alteration done by Project Darkstorm many years ago. I wish you could make a theory of this. The next cycle didn't have to happen again. The Analyst and the purely Machine faction would try to stop them in the next two sequels, but Neo's faction and the ally machines would stop them until Matrix 7. Altho it wouldn't make no sense cuz they could just bring back the sun to restore solar power. If there's power for everybody there wouldn't need to be another Machine Civil war or human extinction.

  • 'Zion' represents 'resistance'. 'I-O' represents 'acceptance'. War is what caused the situation to begin with...humans being ridiculous. So, it seemed they realized that accepting one another is best for both. The programs are going to continue to run on their set programming because that's what they were programmed to do. Now, machines and humans have to work together to help humans overcome the programs like Neo did. It's all about the process of healing the damage humans did when they 'scorched the sky' - psychologically and physically. It's ultimately a spiritual evolution (not revolution/resistance). To 'revolve' is to 'go around again'. To 'evolve' is to 'go beyond'. It's like choosing between chasing your tail or flying. Do you wanna keep going in circles, or do you wanna fly?

    @tstyleartistry@tstyleartistry3 ай бұрын

  • The Architect and the Oracle can't be really deleted since they're the core, or the Kernel of the Matrix. The Analyst tried to block the process and trapped them into some loop to limit their actions, this could be explained by why the Analyst is so worried and protective about that cat. Blocking their codes into a loop made him and the Suits, which are however minor programs in degree of importance, seek for the code of both the Architect and the Oracle to reverse engineer them and take full control of the system. These codes were inside Neo and Trinity and the Analyst tried with no luck to decode them, due to the roots and copy-protection that prevented other softwares to alterate their codes. So the Analyst is still in need of those codes and must prevent the Oracle and Architect's return and wrath. There are many things that the Analyst can't do since he has no access to the source, this was remarked during the movie. Now even Smith is in search for him, Smith now seeks to bring balancement to the equation restoring the roots of the Matrix, he's doing the freelance agent actually. While Neo and Trinity have enabled their Oracle and Architect's codes inside them, their future may be of raimbows and stars, but my wild guess is that Persephone's prediction is right: their paths are going to divide and the circle will return, it is inevitable.

  • I don't think the analyst was created to study the "anomaly" in general. Neo was the anomaly of anomalies. All 6 of the previous "the ones" always chose to return to the source and reboot the matrix. prior to Neo, the machines could've concluded that even "the one" needed an illusion of choice that they failed to offer. seeing as how they always made the same "choice". Neo, was the anomaly of anomalies to risk destroying zion, and everyone in plugged into the matrix, for "Love". Thus Neo's case was a new, and unfamiliar, anomaly. And so, the machines made "the analyst" to study this new anomaly. The machines were trying to study why Neo's case in particular, made the choice that he made in resurrections. They already knew the anomaly, referring to the architects calculations. What they didn't know, was what made Neo the anomaly of anomalies. Just my two cents though.

  • For me, before they finally brought him back into the simulation of Matrix 4, Neo was plugged into another simulation as John Wick. The events of Matrix 4 take place after the epic battle against "the high table" aka the machines in this simulation in the upcoming John Wick 5 movie.

  • It’s a shame they never made Matrix 2, or other sequels, but it’s for the best. Can you imagine if the makers squandered what Neo had discovered and become by the end of the Matrix? Thank God it didn’t all devolve into fist fights and car chases… I mean… can you imagine???

  • Two questions please (and thx for the vid) : 1) How is the Matrix Game now non-canonical ? 2) Why is the analyst so confident about the fact that the newly gained freedom and power of Neo/Trinity doesn’t change anything ?

    @Punklusky@Punklusky3 ай бұрын
    • Because everything that has a beginning, has an end? Choice is still the sum of causality. No wait I have free will, so I choose to Never die! Or as the analyst said, the sheep would want to stay in the Matrix. Most people prefer the illusion anyway.

      @silvercloud1641@silvercloud16413 ай бұрын
    • 1. I'm not sure as i never played it 2. Maybe the analyst is confident that the 'suits' will still feed off the energy of Neo and Trinity's connection even if they're 'free' as long as they're inside the matrix they are essentially feeding it. Yea Neo and Trinity can leave when they want but the Suits might have some tricks up their digital sleeves and already leading Neo and Trinity into a trap

    • Canon is a term thrown around by KZheadrs, Redditors and bloggers. If they don't agree with a line, it's no longer canon. The worst part about it, because people can't enjoy a story for what it is anymore, important information on lore and characters is now disregarded as filler. That in turn makes nothing make sense, it throws the overarching story way off balance and unnecessarily complicated. Unless the creator or IP holder says it's not canon, then the speculation on the internet is nothing but bullshit. The saddest part is that a creator will teach someone their story, how to structure it and so forth, so the franchise gets another 30-40 years, anything that person who is being groomed to take over the franchise adds or introduces is not canon, even though it clearly falls into canon. Then you have the side of it where someone who isn't prepared or groomed to take over a franchise is given it, the biggest offenders of this problem are Star Wars and Marvel. Kathleen Kennedy should never have been assigned to it even though Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni were prepared and groomed to take over the franchise. Marvel I don't know the ins and outs, but the people prepared and groomed for leading the franchise are definitely not the ones calling the shots. The whole what's canon and what's non-canon, is something that needs to be discussed. What are the rules, what are the terms. Let them have a panel at Comic con or Japan's big anime con to decide. Sorry for the long comment, this is legit the short version. Every time someone says the word canon or not canon anymore, take it with a grain of salt.

  • One thing I’ve always wondered is why would the machines not want to try to bring down the dark storm solar blocking weather then just take off into space?? They could build massive solar farms and get all the power they could ever need. As well as go take over Venus or the moon and make it there own

    @nerdwatch1017@nerdwatch1017Ай бұрын
    • The solar storm is made up of nanites, which means it would be fairly hard to tackle without some sort of deus ex machina. The machines relied on solar power at one point in time, but I guess they adapted and preferred reliable sources of energy over having to rely on the time of day. They'd need enough solar panels to power themselves during the day twice over, to survive the new day/night cycle. Generally, modern solar panels provide 12-15 watts per quare foot, for reference, an LED light bulb uses up 10 watts. If we assume that all of the habitable surface of earth were covered in solar panels (around 681 trillion square feet), we can do some math and come to around 8 quadrillion watts of power (assuming the lowest 12 watt per square meter) For reference, nuclear reactions can produce 10+ quadrillion watts.

      @tomd96@tomd96Ай бұрын
    • It could be that solar farms would take up too much surface area since you can only have one layer of them. Being able to stack human pods may generate more power and machines are all about efficiency.

They should have gone much harder in the torment side and made it almost hellish for it to make sense. Thomas/Neo just seemed a bit bored with his privileged solitude.

The only reason why the Analyst needed Neo was because the source code, he needed to active the source code to keep the simulation stable, but because the manipulations of the Oracle, that only could happen with Trinity, Neo and Trinity sure, give their part of the energy, but when the Analyst speak about the spike of energy, he speaking of humanity as whole, not Neo and Trinity.
