It's mainly the hair, the way light hits it and makes the edges lighter looks very similar to selection tools that edit images and apply a "feathering" effect. A minor thing is the vegetation in the background doesn't move much and would like a still picture to many people.

Former vfx guy. Reason we think it’s greenscreen is bc of the “key” effect on the edge of her hair. It’s actually compression artifact from the upload combined with the mist/light sprinkling in the environment. But it’s a real shot

I'm not a camera expert, but from my understanding, what happens is that the camera automatically adjusts the colors of the image to help you stand out when recording. When it does that, it changes the green in the back a bit, and creates a contrast between your hair and it. Since your hair is well lit at its edges (because of the sunlight coming from the background), the camera leaves it with a kind of gray edge in post-processing; this gray edge also appears when editors have problems editing their hair into green screen compositions. I suppose that's why some people may think it looked like a green screen; you're gorgeous btw ^^

It's also about the light I think. I live in the Northern Europe, and literally everything filmed close to the equator at mid day looks photosopped to me. To me, the light doesn't look natural due to lack of any shadows and due to the light being shared so evenly everywhere. Rather it looks like the kind of light you only get to have in the studio settings (if you live here, close to the Northern Pole).

The light is different that's true. In Scotland and Ireland , sometimes it looks like you're walking in a Manet painting, because the light is really pale, and "blurry" somehow... It looks like the sun has been dimmed, but that adds to the beauty of it all. Also the part when the sun sets super early in Winter is a bit unsettling at first. But you get use to it...

I've also heard that so many artists have actually moved to a certain area in France because the light is so beautiful there. Which makes sense and it's so interesting. We also get polar nights here in Finland, we even have a word for the seasional depression that hits when you barely get any sunlight thorough the day: "kaamosmasennus". I don't understand how my ancestors made it here before the modern era when there was not the specific bright day lamps available... maybe they didn't, a lot of the time 😂 however, there's also the unique beauty on the gloomy season: by the power of candles and decorative seasonal lamps, you get to experience the feeling of living in this magical world, having your own cosy nest, nearly like "a bubble" of your own. I also like how it's a national silent consensus, that it's okay to not look, function or feel like "your best" at this time of the year, but you're allowed to take it easy and get time just for yourself ☺️

The phone cameras don't just take a picture and show it to you, they add a ton of post processing to the image to increase foreground and background contrast. Green stands out but black like her hair or darker colors don't so much so the camera is purposely creating a larger contrast between her hair, her skin tone and her shirt to provide that difference so it can make her look more present in the shot.

I think the reason why they (and I too) thought this is because the Farm looks so "still" like a picture. And I don't know how to describe it but you look somehow detached from it, the lighting changes when you run down the farm, but when you stand in front of the camera you look different from the background, like the light is different? Its because of the way our phones process images and videos! When she is in focus, the phone tries to create more contrast between her and the background. When she’s no longer the focus of the video, the phone no longer tries to create that contrast. It’s actually pretty interesting!

It's mainly the hair, the way light hits it and makes the edges lighter looks very similar to selection tools that edit images and apply a "feathering" effect. A minor thing is the vegetation in the background doesn't move much and would like a still picture to many people.

Former vfx guy. Reason we think it’s greenscreen is bc of the “key” effect on the edge of her hair. It’s actually compression artifact from the upload combined with the mist/light sprinkling in the environment. But it’s a real shot
Also the angle of the video. She shot top-down, with a hill behind her. It gives the illusion that her feet would not align with how we expect the ground to be. And the absence of wind as well.

I'm not a camera expert, but from my understanding, what happens is that the camera automatically adjusts the colors of the image to help you stand out when recording. When it does that, it changes the green in the back a bit, and creates a contrast between your hair and it. Since your hair is well lit at its edges (because of the sunlight coming from the background), the camera leaves it with a kind of gray edge in post-processing; this gray edge also appears when editors have problems editing their hair into green screen compositions. I suppose that's why some people may think it looked like a green screen; you're gorgeous btw ^^
There are a lot of pictures of me in a pink shirt. I don't own a pink shirt. It is a narrow stripped white and red shirt. At the camera's resolution, or maybe the display's, the colors get averaged.

It's also about the light I think. I live in the Northern Europe, and literally everything filmed close to the equator at mid day looks photosopped to me. To me, the light doesn't look natural due to lack of any shadows and due to the light being shared so evenly everywhere. Rather it looks like the kind of light you only get to have in the studio settings (if you live here, close to the Northern Pole).
The light is different that's true. In Scotland and Ireland , sometimes it looks like you're walking in a Manet painting, because the light is really pale, and "blurry" somehow... It looks like the sun has been dimmed, but that adds to the beauty of it all. Also the part when the sun sets super early in Winter is a bit unsettling at first. But you get use to it...

I don't understand how my ancestors made it here before the modern era when there was not the specific bright day lamps available... maybe they didn't, a lot of the time 😂 however, there's also the unique beauty on the gloomy season: by the power of candles and decorative seasonal lamps, you get to experience the feeling of living in this magical world, having your own cosy nest, nearly like "a bubble" of your own. The phone cameras don't just take a picture and show it to you, they add a ton of post processing to the image to increase foreground and background contrast. Green stands out but black like her hair or darker colors don't so much so the camera is purposely creating a larger contrast between her hair, her skin tone and her shirt to provide that difference so it can make her look more present in the shot.

I believe its a mixture of the compression, the lighting, and your hair. The edges of your hair give off that same "fuzzy" effect that alot of poor green screen croping does. TBH this video looked liked you ran into a painting.

And I don't know how to describe it but you look somehow detached from it, the lighting changes when you run down the farm, but when you stand in front of the camera you look different from the background, like the light is different? Its because of the way our phones process images and videos! When she is in focus, the phone tries to create more contrast between her and the background. When she’s no longer the focus of the video, the phone no longer tries to create that contrast. It’s actually pretty interesting!
