    • theyre also used to a lot less, which makes a HUGE difference. (and is the reason they didnt just kill themselves like ppl in advanced countries would do today if this happened)

    • That’s a good point too. The typical celebrity virtue signaling sheep has no real understanding of what real issues or to what degree they should be politicized with aims for resolutions. Angelina seems to actually get it thought. I lived over there in SE Asia teaching English for a couple of years. Cultures and societies built on a foundation of being grateful and compassionate. I’ve thought about how I might be able to help for a long time, but I guess it’s just taking it one step at a time, and with appreciation for their will to appreciate...

  • All these negative comments directed at a woman who's raising awareness and towards those faced in the threat of a war and a genocide. Good for you for becoming an apathetic human being.

  • Respect to Angelina who brought this heartwrenching story of Loung to the screen, I sure will be supporting this movie and movies alike, not may get made these days. Can not wait for it to be in Theaters on the 14th September and on Netflix on the 15th. We will support Cambodia no matter which part of the world we are from.

  • I think Angelina is trying to make the world aware of injustice and maybe inspire someone to change things. Also, maybe to not go down the same path. Someone was criticizing her for capitalizing on others misfortune, I don't believe that at all. She wants to do something meaningful with her art and I think that's a beautiful thing.

  • I'm honestly so glad this story is being made. Having been to the killing fields and s24 prison only a month ago when before then I hadn't even heard about the horrific genocide that happened in Cambodia, I think it's really important to inform more people in the western world about it. What happened in Cambodia was only 40 years ago and I hope a film like this will encourage people to research into the khmer rouge and go see Cambodia for themselves and what amazing people live there having survived such a terrible fate.

    • What is all of this? This is a tragic story based on real events and Angelina Jolie wants the world to hear it? So what has basking in capitalizing on misfortunes has to do with anything? Why can't people just appreciate certain films and stop criticizing those who make it?

Anorexic (has ProAna slogan tattooed on her "What nourishes me kills me")... Attention Seeker.. Vain Bitch (People who work with her say she acts stuck up)... Incest lover (Kissed brother on the lips on many occasions on tv)... Lesbian Degenerate... Bad Mother (told magazine she called her daughter Shilo "It" when she was born and refused to hold her and mother her because she was born white and privileged)... Capitalist Contributing Pig... Hollywood (Jewywood) Actress.. Apart of the 1% elite Hollywood who sells her new baby's photos to magazines... There are so many biographies in the world that still need to be shared. My grandmother is 99, but has a mind of a 70 year old. I document everything she tells me. I would love to share her story with you as a USA immigrant if you ever have the time. Our world is Peace and Love. Let's say it and believe it. Best of Luck!

In this movie of Angelina we can al see and feel how people in this beautiful country had to deal with these terrible experiences. A very important movie about recent history.

  • I love Angelina always have but this just puts her on a whole other level for me, the biggest thing I love about Angelina is her heart her compassion and humanitarianism to be honest it's the kind of things I would also be doing if I could travel and do such things, tho I do DO whatever I can from my part of the world and capacity. We need ALOT more people who care the way she does because people like that are the worlds only hope for survival, too many people are becoming NUMB to the horrors of the world and as a result some of those people then do horrific things also. We need to realize it is ALL of our responsibilities and the more people who receive love the more they can give back and help everyone. :D

If I remember my history, they decided that they couldn't allow the Kham Rouge to stand so they went in and dealt with them. It still took years and years before they were close to recovered from what he Pol Pot did the country.
