Nice video on port forwarding I need to get a good wifi router but I just use the comcast modem xb7 they give every upgrade. Would be nice if they had better settings for latency and qos for gaming. But really don't get how these companies, can't put a server in each state, especially if they get close to a billion in $, I don't wanna have 30ms ping ,when I should have 10 or less in my damn state.😅
Wifi isn't ideal wired is better but yeah some decent Qos would be nice for gaming, some have it but it comes with a price
i got the same modem. i also have a nighthawk r7000 but im not sure if it would help with ping in valorant
Its not possible because there isn’t enough players in every state to support a local server. If you were trying to find a game at a high rank it would take hours, to find enough players.
Please be careful when showing your own ip address, if you're ports are also open that could be a potential attack vector i think.
Not ya local IP sir , Wan/Internet sure. If you are condensed more use port triggering
Will only work with ISPs that serve static private IPs to client.
most routers allow you to provide yourself with a static lan ip. if you don't have a static IP you can use port triggering which doesn't require an IP.
didnt see any difference gonna leave it like this for a extended time and see
How much did this method reduce your ping by?
Hard to measure as you don’t always get the same server, but mines around 10/12 it was 15/20
