All the Sahabah were men who fought next to the prophet, sat with the prophet, and literally prayed with the prophet. So anyone who thinks he has a say in their affairs or their personal issues is coming from a place of ignorance call it Shia call it twelvers . These men were promised Jannah and the only way you will enter Jannah is following Mohammed and Allah.

But Arabic is my native language, and “Hashish” literally means “drugs”, and “Hashshashin” which is related to the original word, translates to “stoners”, which likely comes from the fact that these guys (the assassins) were known to take a lot of strong drugs before doing their missions. So yeah 😅

Its name is "Üsküdar'a Giderken" meaning "While going to Uskudar" (Uskudar is a place in the Asia side of Istanbul) Also Ali's followers weren't only Shias, there are Alevis(mostly popular in Syria, Iraq and Turkey) who call themselves neither Sunni nor Shia. Sunni is basically the one who follows Kuran and prophets Shia also adds Ali as a redeemer, while doing that they continue to follow Muhammad and Kuran

The Arabic family name "al-Siqilli" or "al-Sqalli" is an indicator of that, it translates to "the Sicilian" There are also Sicilians now in Sicily who are descended from Arab/Berber Fatimids.

  • Two facts: 1- The Alamut castle is freaking amazing when you visit it yourself! There is only a very narrow mountainous pass to its gate which explains why it was almost impenetrable 2- As far as I know there was a huge tendency to demonize these people in their time (bc of their opposition) and therefore you shouldn't believe everything you hear about them P.S Also as far as I know Hassan Sabbah bought the castle from its owner

Iran on the other hand follows the Twelver sect of Shia Islam which is generally bad news for Nizari Ismaeli’s. Portugal and much of the Iberian peninsula was once islamized, then the reconquista Christianized them until secularism was achieved. As such, Nizari Ismaeli’s are safe there.
