Hamas are certainly criminal, but they can't be war criminals, because it never was a war - it was a prison riot.
These are lies. It is the far-right ministers AND Netanyahu who do not want the deal. And I quote: "There are “soldiers who left everything behind and went out to fight for goals that the government defined, and we throw it in the trash to save 22 people or 33 or I don’t know how many. Such a government has no right to exist.” - Settlements and National Projects Minister Orit Strock, TODAY in Israel. Netanyahu said he will invade Rafah regardless of any "deals". You need willing negotiating partners on BOTH sides and Israel is not a willing partner.

The problem is getting B-B- to accept the cease-fire. He has rejected every single attempt.
Firstly Hamas already agreed to release hostages and to permanent ceasefire, however Israel rejected it. Secondly Palestinian prisoners that you said convicted criminal, Almost all them never been charged, instead they were just locked up without being formally charge (injustice). Overall, there is no fair justice when come to Palestinian prisoners. In other words Israel has completely lost democratic and western value as far as International Communities are concerned.
