Dear Action Kid, Back in the 1964 NewYork World's Fair my first trip with my late mother and little brother, we went by the Long Island Railroad from Jamaica, Queens to Flushing Meadow Park by a special service.The fare was only 1 dollar. My late father worked the night shift and was too sleepy to go. Our train had raised roof with ventilation slots and had also straw seats and a large head on the roof over the end door on the front of the train. It changed tracks and went in the other direction via another branch to the Fair. One of my best memories of that year.
A Florida friend took me to West Palm Beach several years ago. It’s looking even better than I remember it. Thanks for taking me back there virtually!

This brought me a pretty big wave of nostalgia, thank you. I grew up here, and was always fascinated by the drastic income based perspective shifts that you could have depending on which part of the railroad track you grew up on. Though I didn't grow up in Palm Beach, or Downtown(grew up on State Street) I was afforded an ample helping of ambition from all the beautiful sites.

It use to be City Place but they've been doing some major changes to get back to its former glory. It's also becoming the financial district of Palm Beach County or the Wall Street of the south.
