True crime. Real justice. "48 Hours" investigates the most intriguing crime and justice cases that touch on all areas of the human experience including greed and passion. "48 Hours," which premiered in 1988, has developed a rich history of original reporting and impact journalism that has helped exonerate wrongly convicted people, caused cold cases to be reopened and solved, and along the way changed lives.

Yall can keep saying there's no merit to stuff like pizzagate, but at that level of wealth of the people involved, the general public thinks that it's debunked because of a basement or something. They can pay for most of the public to think whatever it is they want them to think

    • But she did. Her entire life was a life of extreme privilege. Valedictorian. Great. She was obviously from a strong financial background with huge support, emotionally and financially. Her first upset in her life - her husband cheated on her? - everything went to pots. I cannot describe the adversity that I have seen in my life as a single parent and the first woman in my family to go to high school. I graduated from medical school late in life. Tortured through residency and could not get through it 3X. Had an ex try to take my home away and fought him in court for almost a year. I have been alone for years. Yesterday, I drove back on a country road because I saw a very small turtle crossing the road. Many cars were going in both directions. I positioned my car to stop all traffic and got the turtle to double-time and cross the road. That made my day. If you cannot appreciate the little things in life, please don't hire a hitman and find excuses for it. And yes, there are some really, really mean people in medicine.

The kids are the ones who have suffered because the parents were all so narcissistic and dangerous. Leon is an absolute sociopath!! I agree that Valerie was vulnerable when she met Leon, but, she could've put a stop to all that madness. She paid with her life instead of walking away. Sad case all around.
