    @Korica@Korica5 жыл бұрын
    • Thank you. I swear to god it's dumb. First off the lights are silly anyway and if you're alone you can't even see them so just turn them off and then the one I have lasts at least half a day on a full charge. When the fuck are you going to need more then twelve hours continuously and I fail to see how taking 5 seconds to plug it in when I'm finished using it is any sort of drawback at all.

    @jasoncheever8819@jasoncheever88196 жыл бұрын
  • Since the manual fails to give complete instructions I will. Hope it helps someone. (Make sure software is downloaded first, before you follow these instructions) 1.) Plug the headset and charging cable both into the pc or wall outlet so power is reaching it. 2.) Plug the usb dongle into either the PC/Wall, or into the usb stand, (the usb stand only comes with the SE version of the headset, and is not necessary for use). 3.) FIRST insert a paperclip into the small opening of the USB dongle for 5 seconds untill it flashes. Once flashing begins you can let go of paperclip. 4.) Then you hold the power button on the headset for about roughly 5 seconds untill it begins flashing too, to signal its also in pairing mode. 5.) After the headset starts its flashing about 1 second later, the USB dongle will stop flashing, and that means its connected. Thats it. Sidenote. If your having issues. Make sure your headset is not dead. You can always try turning the headset off, then back on, then try re- pairing them. Also make sure your sound setting on your pc has headset selected. Otherwise you may not hear sound out of them. Also make sure the proper software is on your pc. Windows 10 should recognize the headset as Corsair Void, if you dont see that, make sure you have corsair software downloaded.

  • The battery life is fine if you only use it at night when you don't want to keep the neighbours awake, at day i use my 5.1 speaker system anyway and my VOID usually lasts me multiple nights, i also have the RGB active, just static blue, maybe blinky rainbow puke needs more power? But i have the audio level at 20% which is more than enough for most things. ...except for when i need to hear footsteps in PUBG then i go for 100% (i hate that game for that). I had no idea that the microphone was THAT bad though (and they replace it and it is STILL this bad? is there any point in getting the PRO over the normal one now?). Good thing i never talk to people online anyway, would actually like it if you could disconnect the pointless microphone completely... slightly annoying when i use it on my Oculus Rift to have the microphone arm dangling around there as well. PS: it is cute that you can shake it off your head and make it look bad in the video, but realistically you don't throw your head around like that, not even in VR. ...and for VR the wireless part is exponentially more important and they do sound quite a bit better than the default rift headphones and the Vive doesn't have any.

Man these DACS nowadays cost so much, the proprietary HDVD 800 costs a whooping 2200€ and the Benchmark DAC3 HGC is the same price. But i suppose if you are a movie aficionado and you watch Netflix all day, these headphones paired with an LG OLED tv will make you live the dream xD, if you got a minimum of 5000€/$ ready that is hehe.

The Senns are probably the best headsets available (followed closely by the HyperX Cloud), ages ahead of corsair and Razer headsets. And even then, they hardly compete with any entry level HiFi headphone.

  • This video has actually made me doubt the veracity of HardwareCanucks reviews. I have been through a Sennheiser Game Zero and Game One, using both their own GSX1000 mixamp and an standalone Objective2 DAC, the sound quality and microphone pickup on these models is absolute rubbish. The microphone and speaker quality on the Corsair Void RGB wireless which I replaced those with is actually superior in comparison, which I found very surprising compared to other analogue / DAC-driven headsets. Although using the RGB definitely does accelerate the battery drain, I have never had the battery lose 30% in an hour and I leave the RGB on solid white, maybe it's possible you have a bad pair. "Somehow the headset was still pulling power" > because you didn't turn it off. Of course it's going to keep pinging, looking for a signal from the dongle Put your mobile phone in a Faraday cage and watch how quickly its battery gets sucked dry in standby as it tries to find a signal, the headset is no different.

      @frdsazam6830@frdsazam68305 жыл бұрын
  • corsair expects you to have a sound card to process sound accurately, which is where the neodynium drivers can pick up from as they can compute the 7.1 audio from the sound card to the speakers. if you don't then the CUE will do the best it can to emulate surround sound. true 7.1 is where you have several speakers, but 7.1 drivers are still 7.1 none the less (but it sounds true with a sound card).

    • Rev_dude In theory, the G930's (or g933) may be better in audio quality as it allows for more types of surround 7.1 audio options. However, and I'm saying this from multiple personal experiences, the logitech headsets have a bunch of bugs. The mic is bad with loud background noises, the audio has static when it's turned up, it disconnects randomly, the surround sounds robotic at times. The fully functional safe card is the VOID.

  • Just got mine Monday and it’s great, it sounds good, it’s wireless, the mic sounds better than any of the other gaming headsets I’ve had, my only issue Is the terrible icue software , the software itself isn’t bad but the issues it causes with my pc wasn’t worth it. I couldn’t launch my web browser or some of my other programs and the headsets wouldn’t play any sound after the software was installed. After uninstalling I cue fixed all my issues. I usually get around 12 hours of battery charge which works well for me. Also they are insanely comfortable even during long play sessions, so I would recommend buying them but I’d say skip the icue software until they update it and fix the issue.

Just a slight accidental bump in the wrong direction might cause the base where it rotates to completely come off, which happened to me. • Obligatory: Just get a really good pair of audiophile grade headphones and an amp. You'd be amazed at how much better it sounds. Case in point, the SHP9500 headphones. You don't even need an amp for them and they cost half as much as this. Get a VModa modmic or even a Blue Snowball/Snowflake for your mic and you are under or around the same cost with better sound and a better mic!

  • I'm still really amazed by the Logitech G35 and Logitech G930. The sound is very very good. Believe it or not, I broke 4 different pairs of G35 and one pair of G930 and Logitech always agreed to replace my broken product. They even provided the delivery. I was planning to get these Void to give a try but I need them especially to play on the HTC Vive and as we move a lot when playing this (like Onward), I'm afraid to drop them. I'm also very disappointing by the mic and this blinking light is such a shenanigan.. Thanks for your honest review.

  • Don't buy a "gaming" headset. Get a solid pair of headphones like Sennheiser, Audio Technica, HIFIMAN or Beyerdynamic. Then simply add a Antlion Modmic. Boom you know have any amazing pair of headphones for gaming that blows all the "gaming" headphones out of the fucking water. Trust me, I learned this the hard way. Don't make my mistake guys!

    • I've heard the cloud revolvers aren't too shabby. I used to have a pair of HyperX Cloud Stingers and they were great for what I paid. HyperX(Kingston) in general are one of the best "gaming" brands. I've heard the Cloud II are excellent also. So don't sweat the revolvers man!

    • Nice. I've heard good things about the HD 598s. I really like my DT 770s for when I want to block out sound and have a bit more bass or when I am traveling for work. The ATH 700s are great for gaming and more treble/mid strong music. The 700s are open back so they aren't good for taking out in public or when my girlfriend is in the same room though. Just something to keep in mind if you have roommates/GF or wife.

      @tycarper6330@tycarper63306 жыл бұрын
    • Don't get me wrong the DT 770s are excellent for home use too. But the 598s are fantastic too. I'd just look into whether you want open or closed back headphones and go from there.

Well I want to just go to ONE wireless Headset that I can use for both. The Turtle Beaches I can't use because they use Optical Out In and I'm using a Gaming Monitor with only a 3.5mm port. Great Corsair app that you're able to download also, turn rbg lighting off, adjust volumes ect.
