I’m seeing she’s at the gym now everyday and I don’t wanna get my hopes up. But she’s still young even at 40 her game is still there. Now that she gave Olympia a sibling maybe she’s hungry to get back out there 😭but if not I’ll still be happy for her❤️
We all adore Serena, but shes not coming back. Shes at the gym just to be healthy and be in shape.

I had such high hopes after she won this tournament, but 2014 was quite disappointing. Even though she won the us open, she didn't perform well at the other slams. Injuries also plagued her that year. I remember her pulling out of about 3 tournament midway ( Madrid and China open as well as Wuhan). Even though she won more titles in 2014 than 2015, i will always cherish 2015 because she won 3 slams
She had bad luck in Australia several years in a row.
Her serving got too predictable in 2014 which made it easier to read. That made for more battles on serve. They fixed that in the offseason & it helped make the difference in 2015. Plus, they stopped starving her, lol. She was so thin & fit in 2013 & 2014.
@got2bjosh I also feel the injuries didn't help at all. Those health issues continued till 2015. I think the knee began to bother her again.
should have been 4 slams that year and 2016 pissed me off i felt like she should have won the first 3 that year .
Back when tennis quality was 📈
