There was definitely a lot playback during the chorus and bridge as there is a major noticeable different in the volume and shakiness of her voice. That being said, she pulled off an amazing performance and deserves hella praise for it. It’s a great song and great choreography. She is an amazing singer but she doesn’t sing 100% live during these big production numbers (which is common with almost every singer).

That may be the case in the UK...i hope not! The way I see it, women are more free to express themselves in any way they want (whether that be billie eilish’s baggy, covered up “brand,” Dua Lipa’s more revealing style, or anything in between). (This next statement may be a chicken-egg matter:) I think one of the styles today, which seems to be the style of many modern female musicians, is to be “sexy” and revealing in their clothing and/or dancing, but I think they can find that empowering, if not just a fun lifestyle. She is a singer(/songwriter), so what I value first is her music, not her appearance, and I think that’s how it really should be. Sure the other modes of judgement are inevitable, like fashion, personality, etc., but I think the success of an artist is pretty accurate to their musical talent.
She has to improve her live performance so far... it seemed she was a bit too slow to start singing in the first few second performance

Apart from maybe Billie Eilish, and one or two RARE solo women, I remember fifth harmony, pussycat dolls, even little mix, Rihanna, Katy Perry. At one point they’ve all had to be super sexual and appealing to men. It doesn’t seem to happen in the same degree in the UK. The UK does have that niche for “singer songwriter” types who can be more quirky and don’t have to dance/be sexy etc, and I really appreciate that.
