He broke all kinds of records as a JUCO, FBS player, and rookie NFL player. He's won the JUCO national championship and was the JUCO MVP, he won the FBS national championship and was a heisman winner, he was the NFL rookie MVP, and he recently won the NFL MVP and was in the Super Bowl. Winning the Super Bowl would put him in a league of his own regarding accomplishments by a football player, and his damn near there already.
Super Bowl champion is the only thing missing as you stated, hopefully he'll achieve that goal soon. 👍

Cam was the type of QB you created in NCAA Football. Basically a fullback and running back with the speed of a wide receiver combined with the most powerful and accurate arm.
After revisiting Cams Heisman season I'm reminded he had likely the greatest season at QB In college history. My Goodness.. A generational talent....

Auburn was ranked 22 before the season started. Cam carried them to a BCS championship. The team really didn't have any NFL players on it compared to most BCS champions teams.
Besides Michael Dyer, who never went pro but was great, Auburn’s defense lacked but cam made okay TE and WR GREAT that season

Adam Prince Ya that Clemson game set the tone for the rest of the season. I was at a wedding shower.. Auburn fans in one room watching, Bammer fans in the other room watching lol. Our tv was on satellite delay so we could hear them cheer or groan maybe 5 secs before our room got the play. On the field goal that ended the game we heard them groan. Our room immediately started cheering at the top of our lungs before we even seen the play bc we knew the fg was good after we heard them lolol.. Classic memories... Classic memories. War Eagle!!!

Cam Newton is probably still the most special Quarterback in recent years. Man truly OWNED the field when he was in college. You never knew what was gonna happen when he stepped on the field. You just cant teach that. I'll never forget watching that season as a kid and I'll probably never see anything like that again.

Damn man cam really outlasted Andrew luck. They've both had equally terrible offensive lines for most of their careers, this shit got me scared for cam man. He's going throw the same shit luck is with the rehabs, but luckily he hasn't had a botched surgery like luck did unfortunately.

I love this highlight of Cam. Still, my heart breaks to know that Lutz (43) is gone so soon. Still, Lutzenkirchen shared the AU Dream Season of 2010-11, which was very special for all football fans and players regardless of team/team preference. Cam Newton made the entire collegiate league better by just doing what he loved and giving it his best. What a Thrilling season of college football it was!

Nobody else on that started for Auburn that year had much success as a pro, and they won a National title! Shows you how good Cam was in that one season at Auburn.
And too think Tim Tebow started over Cam over at Florida University too smh. Look at Tebow now compared to Cam.

Jeremiah Finnissee Tebow was incredible in that system with all that talent you mean. He was the ultimate system QB. After watching Cam in JUCO, at Auburn for 1 year and the NFL, he would have been way better than Tebow and that is saying a hell of a lot. Nobody in the NFL past or present beats him in the total package department at QB. Size (6'5 250 when he came out of college), speed (4.59 40), arm strength, passing ability, release.

Cam was childish at UF but Cam was the better college player as well, Tim gets way too much credit. He was an below average QB but an exceptional star athlete, with NFL Stars on his team. The 2010 Auburn Tigers had 2 NFL players Cam and Nick Fairley, they were Undefeated Nat'l Champs. That 08' Florida team was loaded, Percy Harvin, Brandon Spikes, Carlos Dunlap, Joe Haden, Mike and Maurkice Pouncey, Janoris Jenkins, Will Hill III, Marjor Wright, Arron Hernandez, Riley Cooper, Cornelius Ingram ,Louis Murphy. UF got bad not because Tebow left. All these players minus Jenkins where either in the NFL or left when Tebow left.

The year he won the heisman they went 9-4. Tebow's heisman year was his best year by a mile and they still lost 4 games. What happened was that all the experienced and ridiculous talent was gone. The had 9 players drafted, 3 in the 1st round, 6 in the 1st 2 rounds, and one each in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th round. That 2010 team was a shell of its former self which is why Urban faked his death to be resurrected back at Ohio State after a one year "retirement". Off topic, but it's kinda ironic how he could be facing that same problem this year. He had the #6, #7, and #1 ranked classes from 08-10 plus what was left or the #1 ranked class in 07 (including a 5 star QB and 5 star WR), and still went 8-5. It's been my opinion that while he won't completely collapse because he has JT coming back at QB, he's still going to lose at least 3 regular season games this year.

Newton is such an unique talent at the position. The size of a tight end or linebacker playing QB, he can get so much done with his feet. One things for sure his throwing motion has gotten much better since the college days. He's a fun player to watch, i loved watching the Panthers in 2015-2016, great energy, too bad it didn't translate into the SB. Say what you want about his off field behavior, he is who he is.
Cam is not a bust like some top level talent that comes out of college
