My Ford GT Arrives in LA to Hypercar INSANITY!
It was always going to get crazy in LA, and it has happened in style! After my Ford GT arrives in time for Sunset GT with the most unreal line-up of cars, it's then time to bring Beverly Hill to a stand still with an insane hypercar shutdown!
Having been brought over to the West Coast from Miami by AutoBox Express, the first task is getting the Ford GT unloaded where Sam from Seenthroughglass joins with his British registered Porsche Carrera T! How crazy is it to have both of our UK cars on the roads of California together for our respective tours?! Sam's has recently had a full Topaz Skin in Nulibor Green and wears the roofbox for luggage as he is literally driving the world with the car.
The first stop though is over to Sunset GT, an event held at Sunset Plaza in Beverly Hills and often sees the most incredible cars in attendance and this time is no different; from 2 Bugatti Chirons and 2 Veyrons (one from Mansory), to 2 Pagani Huayras (a BC and a Roadster), a LaFerrari, Ferrari F40, McLaren Senna, Rimac C_two and 2 Concept_ones, 2 Koenigseggs (including an Agera RS) and just about every supercar you could imagine. With rows upon rows of Aventadors, Huracans, McLarens, Porsches and more, by coincidence my Ford GT was actually the only one in attendance. Not only that but plenty of other KZheadrs and social media car people were present including Parker from Vehicle Virgins and Supercar Blondie.
However, following the event is where things really started to get insane, as the group that remained decided to head out for a drive around Beverly Hills. One hypercar would always cause a stir but what happens when you have a group together; well Rodeo Drive doesn't know what's going on! Very quickly things get really busy as my first day in the state comes to life in a complete dream way with non stop busy supercar activity.
While we're pulled over for some photos, we are also joined by Alex Choi with his McDaddy V1, which takes part in the later run and proceeds to blow our ears off through a tunnel.

Shmee is a real car enthusiast, you can tell by his laugh & excitement whenever he sees a lineup of supercars even though he's in one & owns a couple of them. His happiness is infectious, I'm also excited even though it's 9pm in Kenya & i'm laying in my bed.

Purple is by far the nicest colour for super cars. Lamborghini do a purple shade which is the nicest colour known to man.
