One day when I was in college, I went to a particular place to study and when I was going, I saw this group of about 4 guys arguing. I think they were arguing football. I passed them by and spent about one and a half hours where I went to study. I really enjoyed my studies as I learned new things I never knew before. However, while coming back; I met the same guys at the exact spot where I left them. It was still an argument about politics and soccer.
Then, it occurred to me that at the same time certain people spend to make progress is the exact same time some other people waste on little or useless things.

    • I get sick easily, but tbh school is so stressful that being sick and staying home usually helps my mental health (once I’m recovered). I wish I could have my own baby tho😔.   • Very good advice. That's why i stopped using Facebook. I only use KZhead it's more interesting and not time consuming. A person spent an average of 14 hours on Facebook every day according to a review. Since my life is better because i can now dedicate my free time to channels like yours. Thanks. Keep it up. 😉

    • @@muhammedshabin2174 Exactly! I'm addicted to YT and it's incredibly hard to quit it for me because I constantly want to learn via YT. I could be taking much more real action instead of watching YT all the time. How can we quit YT? The problem as I see it is that I can't block it completely because than I start checking more other social media and after a while I realize that it's stupid to be on FB or Twitter so I could better watch YT instead and so the cycle repeats... The thing is I can't be productive all the time and I need some distraction when I take a break, but when I go on YT I can't stop watching it because I'm getting way too deep into the YT rabbit holes... Damn it...

    • But happiness isn’t a goal. It’s state of being. IMO doing valuable things brings that transient happiness you get from achieving. The grind is super addictive.

    • And what if one's happiness would come from being rich? When they could afford whatever they wamt and not have to work another day in their life? When they dont have to ever worry about their family going hungry or homeless. When they can afford to do the things they always wanted to. Being ruch itself isnt happiness but it can help someone to be happy.

    • It doesn't matter if you are rich, poor, or in between people have times when they are happy and times when they are down which can be caused many different things. So poverty and wealth have the least thing to do with happiness.

There should be periods of intensity, but mostly also periods of lesure and fun. Have fun, enjoy, be easy to laugh..     • I think that's a great point and another way to think about the concept of "dont waste time" is to be intentional with our time. If we want to have fun and experience life, then we should make sure that we are not unconsciously spending all of our time doing things that dont help us reach that goal. In short, the difference between spending and investing.
