Im sorry, but. [00:00] 07. The Vision in the Fires (Intro) Was it in the split second before his life ended, or was he already dead when he heard the beeping sound...? Angus couldn't tell, but the pain of this sound was greater than the agony caused by the fires that devoured his body. he instantly knew it had the power to change reality, and his own sacrifice would have been in vain... the world had lost its hero and evil would reign forever. [01:06] 08. Eternal Warrior Breathing heavily, Angus opened his eyes, Before him stretched a bright, lustrous-landscape with wide green flieds, deep valleys and blue mountains - The realm of the Martyrs! All the horrors of the past seemed far away, fading away like a bad dream. But as he sat up, te beeping sound from his vision echoed in his mind again, and he realised that he was the only one who could prevent the dominion of darkness that was going to happen in the past, if there was a way back to the world of the living, he had to find it before it was too late! [04:35] 09. The Key to Eternity Angus set off for the highest mountain that towered behind the horizon. an ancient artefact was to be found there, the key to eternity! It was able to open up the gateway between hell and the world of the living. however, a mighty angel watched over the fabled relic, as the pock-marked, hunch-backed manikin had told him. A mixture of adventurousness and solemn seriousness befell the valiant hero as he rode across the steppes towards an unknown destiny [09:08] 05. Ride to Hell The further the pegasus carried its riders from the realm of martyrs, the more desolate the landscape became. a hot sulphurous wind whipped incessantly in Angus' face. the midget that was sitting in front of him and almost sank into the mane of the pegasus didn't seem to mind, on the contrary; it whistled merrily to itself and chuckled mischievously from time to time. As they reached the plateau, Angus saw a steep, narrow gorge opening before them. he felt the pegasus resist riding further towards it, but the manikin grabedd the mount's mane and relentlessly spurred it on. Angus knew immediately that this was the maw to hell. he looked at the key to eternity in his hands and wondered if he had made a huge mistake by bringing it here, but now it was too late to turn back [12:59] 02. Sixcalibur Suddendly, the dark vision was cut in two by a glowing sword. an ancient weapon forged by the gods, so mighty that even darkness started to tremble. many goblins and trolls had fallen under its blade, the power of the blade grew each time an enemy of its wielder was defeated, Angus wasn't sure if he was still dreaming when an ominous shadow, mightier than anything he had ever experienced, fell on him. its evil aura threatened to swallow him, but before he could be taken over by the darkness, he saw the light of the sword push the shadow back, and light filled his soul [16:47] 01. Master of the Universe A magical fire seemed to blaze from the blade as Angus connected the key to eternity to it. there was no longer any doubt - before him was Sixcalibur, the sword from his vision! it looked just as majestic as he remembered from the dream, and Angus paused in awe. the moment he grasped the divine weapon, he was flooded with memories of the past that were also his future, as if his hand were guided, it drew the sword from the demon's skull and a greater tremor ran through him. the entire world around Angus was sucked into a wormhole. he believed to hear the manikin chuckle "The one that was banished... soon be free.... the cycle of time restarts again ... in vain ... evil will remain..." but the words sounded dull and far away like waves of a distant sea while the gleaming light seized him and carried him away [20:08] 10. In a Past Reality And when the light diminished, the brave hero found himself clad in the golden armour and carrying the legendary sword. the power of the blade had transformed him from the inside out and at the same time, the magic of the astral key to eternity had turned back the hands of time. darkness surrounded him, but the glow of the sword enabled him to see what that he was standing in huge caverns that seemed strangely familiar. Angus felt a vivid force flowing through his body and in this moment he knew he had returned to the world of the living, upgraded to a new, more powerful version of himself. now he would be able to defeat evil once and for all! [23:57] 11. Fireflies of Doom The dark vision of the dwarven diviner had become reality! Thalestris whistled through her finger and a huge eagle swooped down on her. as if she had expected this, she climbed onto the back of the giant bird and soared into the skies with a blood-curdling battle cry. from the pit that had opened at the dwarven carverns, the giggiling voice on the manikin rresounded like whispering winds. but this time, Angus was sure that he understood the world correctly: "The one that was banished to the hell of hell will soon be free because you lifted the spell. the cycle of time restarts again and time that has ever passed since has passed in vain, as all the good will vanish, only evil will remain. [27:31] 04. Amazons of Caledonia The dwarven legion was fighting hard. their battle axes slew many of the fiery diabolical monsters insects, but the sheer number of flying bugs threatened to crush the dwarves. with their claws, the fireflies cut the cave dwellers to pieces or carried them away back to hell. the holy dwarven empire already seemed lost, when suddendly a supersonic battle cry rang out from thousands of throats high above the skies. an army of fiercely determined women clad in leather, metal or feathers and armed with modern weapons, appeared from afar. with determination, they swooped down on the fireflies on giant eagles! Their saviours had arrived! [31:30] 03. Laser-Shooting Dinosaur The dying diviners haunting words echoed in Angus ears, drowning out the tumult of the fading battle. he hurried to the underground palace of the dwarf lod, where he suspected the secret high-tech superweapon mentioned by the dwarven diviner. in a damp dungeon and put in chains, he found a half-metal hybrid monstrosity waiting silently and immobile for its new master. when Angus climbed onto the back of the techno-beast nothing happened! after a frantic search, discovered a slit in the neck of the metal monster. he pushed his sword into the opening and the dinosaur's eyes began to glow. a metallic thunderous roar sounded from its throat. it was time to end some more evils! [35:38] 06. Starlord of the Sixtus Stellar System Angus did not know how long he had been on the road. even though the dinosaur ran tirelessly at a fast pace, the way to stennes seemed to drag on endlessly. the thought of the mystery of his fate added to Angus' impatence. the uncertainty of his own destiny and the fear of what dark power he might have unleashed in hell were wrestling a battle for the upper hand of his mind. as the sun was again starting to set, the shadowy outlines of massive gates appeared on the horizon. a ring of standing stones stretched from the gates encricling a vast plain and hiding the view of what lay beyond, a feeling gripped Angus that what he was bout to learn would change everything. not only his own fate, but possibly the whole universe.. The fact Angus returned to a long distant past via a hell portal beneath -SOMEWHERE- explains why in Gloryhammers second album there was a dormant hell portal right beneath Dundee, huh. Its still surprisingly more connected than it looks.
So, did Angus create the entire order of Amazons, or just transform Thallestris into the queen of an existing warrior caste?

@@anthonyshannon7559 I think the logic is that, if by welding the sword, Angus is "Master of the Universe" as its mightiest warrior, then it may stand to *some* reason that turning Thallestris into a Amazon doesn't just make her an ordinary warrior, but the *Master* of the Caledonians. The sword makes upgrades you to the best version of yourself, or at least, the most *powerful* version of yourself.
"Just a Fool Will Play Tricks on Angus McSix" Nothing unusual. Defeating Zargothrax, he collected so much exp from him (like Gandalf in a clash with the Balrog) that his current level allows him to beat everything. He can even go into the Tartar and kick Hades out off the underground. However, he decided to come back to life.
[Looks at Gloryhammer] [Looks at AngusMcSix] This is getting out of hand! Now there are two of them! Edit: I laughed way harder than I should have at "laser dinosaur of steel". You can take away the hammer, but you can never take away the glory.
I love that we basically have _two_ Gloryhammers now. I hope there's no bad blood between the two bands because Angus McSix and Angus McFife doing a duet at a live show would be a world-endingly epic event. EDIT: There's an interview with Thomas (Angus) on the channel A&P-Reacts in which Thomas states verbatim "there's no bad blood," and seems to have a very "it is what it is" approach to the situation. Further, he confirms that the McSix songs that reference Gloryhammer aren't meant to be dis tracks, but rather a way to tell the story of his journey from one band to the next, with some cheeky references for fans. Take that as you will.
Sadly there is. Only for now, let's hope. I dream for the day of a Gloryhammer concert, where Sozos is singing the finale of an album yet unknown, and the lights go out, only to come back and reveal Tom; both proceeding to perform a duet for the ages.

Yeah, having the story in order aside, I actually the album flows a lot better in this order than the released order.
Starlord of the Sixtus Stellar System is so damn good.
Maybe an unpopular opinion but I feel like the album maybe should have ended with the triumphant Sixtus Stellar System instead of the gimmicky Just a Fool. Like... list Sixtus as the final track and then make Just a Fool the hidden bonus track that sets up the next album. Sixtus is a fantastic melodic metal vibe to end an album with IMHO.

I hope they do the next album in lore order. I can't fathom why they didn't from the start.
I saw an interview where apparently Seeb wanted all the "hits" up front. In the modern era I dont think that matters, the people who listen to albums want the album experience, the people who just want the singles are streaming individual tracks anyway.
@@thebarondisco7741 that is quite silly. Usually with non-concept albums it's a terrible idea to front-load your album with all the good songs. That way most people who try out the album will listen to the start and when the quality falls off, turn the record off prematurely and miss the latter half.

There's multiple nods to Gloryhammer, like Angus thinking the Fireflies of Doom looked like undead unicorns. And it makes so much sense, too! To Angus McFife XIII, the attack of the undead unicorns was one of the worst calamities in history. So it only makes sense when he sees another calamity, that would be the first thing to come to mind

There are many references I spotted - in STARLORD of the sixtus stellar system there are multiple references. Intro is similar to thunderstruck by ACDC. When Skaw shows up THUNDERSTRUCK he has come to reveal. In the speech at the end: hope is BACK IN BLACK and gold Also in the chorus he mentions he was on Mars ( in Space 1992 rise of the chaos wizards final battle was on Mars and Angus mcfife XIII was there)

5 months. 5 WHOLE MONTHS I had a bad thoughts about this album. "Dude got fired and made dis-album" thought I. No. Maybe in some moments it's true, but everything else is AMAZING. Especially Eternal Warrior and Key to Eternity are good

The official statement puts Sixcalibur second, which is obviously wrong. Not sure why they say that, it only makes sense from a Lore perspective after Ride to Hell. I assume they did that to get one of the singles higher on even the lore order list. Sadly, they marred the album a bit by putting them out of order. I think they misunderstand the audience assuming that people would want the singles up front over wanting them in lore order.
Shouldn't Sixcalibur come after Master of the Universe? Master of the Universe is Angus reborn and pulling the sword, and Sixcalibur is then the description of the sword it's self. Everything you have before could be interpreted as Angus's journey thru the afterlife to return to the mortal planes, but being reborn before Sixcalibur seems important.
You could argue it's an interlude, with Angus being told of the legendary sword that will restore him.
To me, it feels like he gets the sword, and thats what actually makes him reborn, as well as the powerful force he then becomes.
Extra lore written in a booklet makes clear that "Sixcalibur" is about a vision of the sword that Angus had while dying in a volcano, so the order "Vision in the Fires -> Sixcalibur" makes a lot of sense,
Angus actually withdraws the sword in "Ride to Hell" after combining the sword with the key to eternity he "pull(s) it out!" Thats why sixcalibur comes out after. The master of the universe video is just a video showing the lore of the entire album. The opening is Eternal Warrior, then he withdraws the sword, then he awakens the queen of amazons, then he spares skaw, then he releases sebulon. Similarly to the events of the album

I like it… But reading between the lines you can hear just how salty he is at being kicked out of Gloryhammer. I’m not mad at him, and I still like both bands. But you got a move on Angus. You gotta move on.

Outside of some catchy choruses the songwriting is absolutely mid. Chris Bowes is light years ahead as a songwriter.
Worst take ive heard. Chris may be a better songwriter after all these years and I wouldn't deny it but this album shows that Thomas understands what his fans like and this album is a testament to his passion for his character and the fans that watch him. The music here is absolutely incredible

The story is complete garbage in Return to the Kingdom of Fife, so it evens out.
The overall plot appears to be disjointed. A bunch of events and characters that don't correlate til the end. But that's exactly how space 1992 is. Both are fantastic albums. Thomas may not have the experience to write lines as fire as Rise of the Chaos Wizards. But he clearly loves the fans and lore of this character. Lines like "with a heart as pure as steel" referencing all the way back to the first album shows his passion for the story. The songs are all also incredible and catchy. I think "in a Past Reality" and "just a fool" are the only mids but I still like them. I cannot wait to see how thomas develops as an artist While his next album bakes in the oven. I believe "Angus McSix and the Origin of Evil" could be as good as terrorvortex.
