I think the Men-at-Arms issue with the Comanche isn't because of the tribal government using prestige, but something to do with Nomadic. WhenI started a game as a nomad, I had eight MaA slots filled almost completely, mostly with some variant of horse-archer. There was also a -75% cost to raising them. Basically, don't f*** with horse-lords.
1:57, hey I live around there
Very nice 👍
Actually, cowboys were a Spanish invention, after the independence of Americas USA countryside started using the cowboy stuff and with the help of Hollywood and video games we associate Cowboys with Americans instead of Spanish criollos and Hispanics

Doesn’t really matter what kind of invention it was no? The horse was first domesticated by indo-Europeans but we associate the ancient mongols and Turkics as being horse pastoralists. It got adopted into the culture and became its own thing, that’s how culture works.
No, the spanish did not invent horse based pastoralism 🙄
To be fair, most of the cowboy mythology is about lawmen and has little to with actual cowboying. And if you want to depict who the state enforcers and slave catchers were, it’s definitely Anglos
