That sort of thing doesn't come from just being rich, it comes deep from a heart that knew what it was like to grow up without a dad in the house, and for a time lived in a car, because he and his mom couldn't afford a house. All I can say is Bless his heart!

I was in one of those fun zones in Miami, Shaq walks in, and the Father of a boy having a birthday party comes out of the party room and asks if he would come and say hello to his son. Shaq laughs and says, "Can I have some cake" .. he goes in. The boy is amazed and ecstatic!

During that time Shaq refused to talk to the press for about a month. During that time Shaq had to apologize, explain, and risked fines from the NBA. Makes you wonder about his recent outburst against another NBA player undergoing similar circumstances.

Shaq is the best. My great grandfather never missed watching Shaq play. He loved him. When my great grandfather turned 90 my, grandma his daughter wrote to Shaq telling him how much her father loved him and Shaq sent him a birthday card with a shirt and hat from the Lakers. He passed away at 93 and was buried with it. Love you Shaq, a wonderful human being.

Shaq has to be careful. Children with him is lime when you have a kitten that's just old enough to start running around in its own unsupervised and you have to carefully walk everywhere so you don't step on it and kill it because they'll jump out around corners coming after your feet

Shaq is the best. My great grandfather never missed watching Shaq play. He loved him. When my great grandfather turned 90 my, grandma his daughter wrote to Shaq telling him how much her father loved him and Shaq sent him a birthday card with a shirt and hat from the Lakers. I just love this gentle giant. He’s so down to earth and willing to give back to the community. He even exude humility, never having security guards when he goes to low end stores in public places, where he tries yo blend in. Never forgetting his humble beginnings.
