Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Lost In the Flood (Live in New York City)
Live in New York City
Watch - LegacyRecordings.lnk.to/BS_Li...
About:
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s first tour in 10 years ended with an emotional series of 10 concerts at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden. Live In New York City, featuring performances from the last two nights of that tour (chronicled partially in an Emmy Award-winning HBO special), captures “the heart-stopping, pants-dropping, house-rocking, earth-quaking, booty-shaking, love-making, legendary E Street Band” as Bruce and his blood brothers embarked on an exciting new musical chapter together. Now, for the first time, this magical program comes to KZhead in its entirety for fans new and old to experience.

Nobody smiles. Game-faces all round. Serious, badass music.
The most mind blowing thing about this song to me is he wrote this when he was 23. Think about what u were doing at 23, and than think about this.
Mighty Max Weinberg driving the great rock n'roll train
91 000 views for one of the best songs in human history?? Greetings from Colombia!
Its a disgrace
He's off to one side and back further than the others band members, but on so many Springsteen tracks, n stage or in the studio, Roy Bittan's piano-playing lifts a song and gives it magnificence.
So true!
The live version is even more amazing than the studio version. I usually find that rare
You're kidding? There are live performances of almost every album track that are superior to the original. This is the best example: kzhead.info/sun/h5GCiruBioxudpE/bejne.html
And listen to this live jam by the best bar band ever! kzhead.info/sun/eZqDfLuloKt8Z4E/bejne.html
these all NY concerts (in 2000) are special all the performances of Bruce repertoire are just amazing it was never released but the same week they play songs like Sandy Incident Secret Garden Racing in the Street Point blank Sherry darling Adam Raised a Cain.. and all are masterpieces
Bruce live versions are almost always better than the studio versions....
U must b a new Springsteen and the E Street Band fan not to bust chops or anything I'm just sayin bc most "Tramps" no this about BS n ESB recordings ESPECIALLY anything off of albums 1 n 2 which were below average production quality
Roy is the unheralded MVP of E Street...pure genius.
I wouldn't say he's unheralded Peter, no other major artist has had the piano as such an integral part of his sound than Bruce
I agree, but the whole E Street Band is ridiculously talented. I'm a fan from back in the beginning and a huge rock fan and this is the tightest band in the world.
That is an absolutely mind-blowing performance... Just ran across it... The awe in his own band's expressions is so eloquent... Words can't do it justice. Wow.
That's Springsteen and E Street in a nutshell man. The deep dives alone words struggle to explain. But particular live performances will leave one outright speechless, if not with chills. Whoever curates the programming for his XM channel has it down to a science. I feel both privileged looking for specific live cuts I heard there previously, as well as ruined when looking for others when I come up empty handed.
Greatness forsure
They dont call him the Boss for nothing! Classic Performance of a classic song !
I was a girl. I grew up. Married. I became a Mommy. I became lost. I became "Nana". I still hurt. I Drive all Night - This - The Music I held Tight
A Lady - Catherine are you ok?
One of my All time...Man that ain't Oil that's BLOOD.
Every band member brings something special to their sound.
This version of Lost is no joke. What a tour it was.
A masterpiece.. We are all lost in the flood!!!
His body made hi the street with such a beautiful thud.hey man did you see that
This is an incredible song. Both musically and lyrically.
This album was his masterpiece!!!
So true
Amen
I’m Chinese and I love Bruce Springsteen since when I was 7 years old. I didn’t know the meaning of the words, but his performance was amazing and full of power.
thank god they brought this one back into rotation for shows. we'll let it slide that we missed live performances of it for 25+ years.
The most intense fucking song I have ever heard.
Damn! He's such a great songwriter that you forget what a great lead player he is. Damn!!!
How is it possible to be that fucking good?!
Best of Jersey...simply the best
All USA
My goodness...What a phenomenal version of this song...Pure, unchained rock n' roll, as it should be.
The only time they played this song on the Reunion tour and the first time it was played since 1978!
And I was there!
@@Yankees_-rx3in Me too! This may have been my favorite concert moment of all time. This one was #1 on my Want to hear it live" list, and I didn't think there was a chance that would ever happen. Bruce proved me wrong, and they nailed it.
And I was there too
Springsteen's music has inspired me since 1973. From his concert in 85 to now, no other artist has struck me like the song writing genius of Bruce. This is an amazingly powerful performance by the Boss and the E Street Band.. 👏🏼💪🏻
The very first song I heard in 1974 that set me on my journey of being a lifelong fan of Bruce and the E Streeters. What an amazing live version.
One of Bruce's most underrated tracks. Fantastic Song. Bruce can't take his eyes off the teleprompter which is fair enough as this was the first time played since '78
Still crushed it !
Where is the teleprompter?
@@Hash2009 hell yeah
sam jones can’t blame him. That’s a lot of words!
@@danielspivey5581 just down in front of microphone stand. Where his eyes are for pretty much the whole song.
one of the best songs in human history- really best song
Breathtaking. Only seen him 27 times - got a lot of catching-up to do.
I'm seen him similar amount of times. I feel like I've missed out.
Best human being in live music
❤ AWESOME MAN ❤ & BAND. AWESOME ALBUMS AND MUSIC ❤
we are now really lost in the flood
Beautifual. Haunting. Poetic....Perfect
an apocalypse scenery that is best described by man in one ballede
He played it first night in croke park Dublin 2016...thank you Bruce...fu*cking love you!!!
First time I heard Bruce was in 1973 in Newark . Time flies .
Just curious where in Newark?
Don't remind me
@@no834 Yep. I can’t believe that’s almost 50 years ago! Band practices, concerts, bumped into him at a bar had some drinks. What a ride he took us all on. Great memories.
JerZ's BEST thing! ♥
I have loved this song since I was in 10th grade .... it is just my ultimate favorite & 40 plus years later it is just perfect~~
"And there's nothing left but blood where the body fell That is nothing left that you could sell Just junk all across the horizon A real highwayman's farewell"
2.40. shit gets real.
Just killed it. Waited many years to hear him do this one.
Anzi secondo me è proprio un mini film
pienamente d'accordo
I dare say that the Rockandnroll in the last 50 years has a reference, a guide, a peak, and it is this Mister.
Still relevant, that ain’t oil, that’s blood
Masterpiece.
It was lost in " Greetings from Asbury park" and found as a fantastic rocking live version for the concerts. One that I always hope is in the setlist of any of the concerts I go to
Much better than the major part of today songs. Less reproductions and likes than any of these
5.33 he rips that guitar up. face melting.
an ode to NY. The best Ballad he ever sung. he´s the godfather of NY. i like the one from ashbury park more because the holy organ is more presize and romantic. Out of this stuff you can make a piece for theatre like the freepenny opera from berthold brecht.
Amazing version of an amazing song off an amazing album
I need to hear this ringing out in the RDS in May 2023. One of my favourite songs from the Boss.
Hauntingly beautiful
PURE GOLD. Exceeds what words can say
Fantastic song & fantastic performance. Long live Bruce & the band. ❤
to me, nothing short of holy.
Powerful imagerÿ...Piano is off the Planet...must be from the Fort.....
Man that was awesome, may Favorite Bruce song sing I first heard it!
No other words BRILLIANT
Bruce: "Is this good?" The Entire World: "😦"
OMG YES!!!! My favorite song from my favorite dvd!!! Thank you so much for uploading! BRUUUCE!!!!!
The Boss is the man!
Absolute Perfection !
When epic meets the electric guitar.
My skin bristles................Greetings from Peru. Se me eriza la piel..... ....saludos desde Perú.
Who's listening January 2020?
Hell yes
Still listening in 2023.
@@rickgoldsmith876 lyrical genius in this! 🎼🎵🎸🎶
Great lyrics, only Bruce could make a whole story in a couple of minutes
Bought Greetings from Ashbury Park years ago on vinyl. Great record, with this song being mij favourite. Thanks Boss!
BRILLIANT 🎸❤️
Superb!!! Maestro Bruce!
Una bellissima interpretazione del nostro caro Bruce!!!😇🤩😍😘⛄🌲🌟💋
The best Song forever
I find it nearly impossible to believe I first saw LITF performed live forty-six years ago...
So beautiful start and powerfull till the end
I was at this show. They were on that night!
Lucky you..😳
Was there too. I drove from Montreal for that show, my first live show ever, and at that moment I was a fan of Springsteen but not more than garth brooks, bon jovi, or any other band or artist. I was by myself in the middle of the crowd, on the floor maybe 100 feet of the stage, and then they came on the stage……from that point for me there will be no other artist or band in my life more important than Bruce and the e street He is the goat. That show still move’s me like almost 30 years later. Still the best live performance I saw in my life and I saw probably more than 300 shows in my life. Got my ticket for next october 31 th 2024 in montreal , right in front of the stage, and even if he’s 74, pretty sure that will be a blast !

Expetacular 🎸🎤🤴💯💕🙏💎
Mind blowing, stunning, amazing.
Un capo, otro nivel.
Classic.
The night before this was an off night on the stand. About 70-90 fans went to the recording of the Conan O'Brien show where Max was the band leader. At the end of the taping was an impassioned, synchronized shout for "Lost in the Flood" by the fans in a unified chorus, right before we all left. I always think that was why the song got played for the first time since Detroit '78.
The Boss 🎸🎤 the best 🤴💯
WOW,who's the boss👊👊👊
magnifique !!!!
never seen a drummer who looks more like a cold-hearted killer that you would expect to find in the Sopranos - which is ironic to say the least..
I was there
