Unseen Crocodile action! Nile Crocodile plunges 10+/- meters into the Sabie River with Zebra kill...

What a slide, dive! Very opportunistic move from a couple of crocodiles.
This was really a first for us to see several Nile Crocodile plunge more than 10 meters high from the riverbank into the Sabie River in Kruger National Park. Remember the crocodile is about 4 to 5 meters long.
Our valued Guests Moss Fairleigh and his wife was just as surprised and took unique & special photographs of this unseen behaviour. The Lions made the kill and walked off thinking that it was safe, most probably to have a drink or to relax in the sade after having such a big meal. Thinking the kill was safe from crocodiles and out of reach was a big mistake as they are avid climbers of river banks and reached the kill in no time. The largest crocodile took all his power and slide down backwards with the kill into the river and not letting go of its prize. In the water, it was fair game and many crocodiles joined in the feast.
The Lion later released something was wrong and came back to have a look and just to see the hopeless situation they found them, selves in and lost their second helping.
This was truly a once in a lifetime experience, well done to Hennie Bekker as the safari guide for the trip and sticking around and let nature takes its course.

    • @Bilal Safeer lion are stronger than lion? Sweet english mate. Also you gotta be kidding😂 a Nile croc bites with over 4000 psi a lion barely a exceeds 900😂 also a croc weights up to a ton in raw muscle, bone and scale, a lion stands no chance. What’s it gonna do? Jump on its back and bite its neck? Yeah good luck getting through the scales and getting it’s jaws around the crocs neck😂 a lions best rival is a tiger, a crocs biggest rival is a great white. Compare the pair. 2 light weights vs 2 heavy weights🥴

      @willb7291@willb72913 жыл бұрын
    • @Bilal Safeer are you serious😂 a crocodile is 600-1200kg of raw muscle. These things can throw full grown buffalo in the air as if they were a rag doll. Lions struggle to even tackle one in a group so to me that says crocs are stronger😂 also how can a lion be stronger when it’s muscle mass is 100kg and a crocs muscle mass is 700kg? Also yeah weight does matter, why do you think crocs can kill a buffalo alone. And did you watch the video? Lions are a crocs bitch when they come outta water. A croc literally can leaves it’s primary habitat and go up to a lion as if it weren’t there. A lion however never goes near the water because it knows if it does it’s gonna get crushed by a bite force of 3000-5000psi. A lion is only 1000psi at its max. What’s your next argument? Because this video is just crocs dominating lions🧂
