I’m looking to study a story a day. I’m looking forward to gain more clarification from God through these studies on how to tackle what I’m going through 💫

There you can read any version of the Bible you understand, and also there are many Bible plans available to help you grow in your faith or help you through a particular situation. Feel free to check it out! -- Jenni

  • October 1st marked 3 years and 9 months alcohol free. It was when I turned it completely over to God that He guided me to what He knew I needed to help me. I share my story publicly in hopes of encouraging others. This Thursday I will give my testimony at Celebrate Recovery at our church. For so many years I had no relationship with God and now I am so thankful to have Him in my life. I see now that all those years I had turned my back on Him, He never turned His back on me.

He knew exactly what you needed in this moment and placed the tools right at your feet! It is amazing to think that the Creator of the word cares for you that much! We are so glad this video helped you and hope you continue to be able to use some of our resources to aid you on your journey with Christ! We pray that you will continue to grow in your faith each day. 🙌 -Rachel

    • "O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes regarding your faith; say nothing about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger of Allah and the fulfilment of His Word through Mary and a spirit created by a command from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers and do not say, “Trinity.” Stop!-for your own good. Allah is only One God. Glory be to Him! He is far above having a son! To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs.” [Quran - Surah An-Nisa; 4:171] In this verse Allah (the Almighty God) is speaking to people of the book. Allah forbids the People of the Scriptures from going to extremes in religion, which is a common trait of theirs, especially among the Christians. The Christians exaggerated over Jesus PBUH until they elevated him above the grade that Allah gave him. They elevated him from the rank of prophethood to being a god, whom they worshipped just as they worshipped Allah.

  • I read the whole Bible, beginning to end, not until then did I know Who God Is. No one ever told me to read the whole Bible so that I could get to know Him. It was the most powerful thing I've ever done; it changed my life. Since reading the Bible, you've been the first person to come along and say that we need to read the word to get to know Him. Seems simple, but that's so powerful - thank you.

I struggle getting up in the morning and then get so caught up with life that I never get around to do it anymore. I know this is a tactic of the enemy.. he knows how to and when to stir something up and he does this by keeping me rushing and busy. Please pray I am able to prioritize my time with the Lord.

    • @@melaniemartin730If there is anything I can do to help, let me know! I use an app in addition to my Life Church apps that replaces your cell phone update with Bible prompts and it sets prayers and Scripture for the morning and the evening! It keeps chiming until you open it or snooze it, but you must open it to stop it and when you open it there is a bible verse waiting. It asks your mood and gives you a verse and prayer prompts for how your day went in the evening and that has kept me on schedule. The YouVersion Bible I have used for reading the translation that works for me and audio as well, and I have a separate reading app that allows me to easily mark how many times I have read each chapter. I hope it gets easier. I had to struggle as well to get used to charging through the Old Testament, but it has been totally worth it. Once you get going, it becomes like a habit and makes the day better. If the reading is difficult, do know that you can listen to the audio Bible. I sometimes put on one Book on repeat and fall asleep and wake up to it. That has helped as well! Peace, family!

  • I highly recommend looking at the Bible Project started by Tim Mackie and Jon Collins. They have a KZhead series and website doing deep dives into books of the Bible with historical context and intent. It’s creative, enlightening, and a great way to understand the grace of Jesus from a biblical perspective as one cohesive story.
