Sometimes when the water/sewage messed up we couldn’t get our clothes washed for 2 weeks and everyone washed them in the shower. At the city jail we got cleaning cart once a week and laundry once a week but pretty much any night if you ask and it’s a chill c.o seeing that the city jail is way smaller

    • @@ashleycook300 unfortunately, suing for things that happen in custody is nearly impossible, especially in the jail i was in which is known as one of the worst county jails in the country. the people youre trying to sue are the same people in charge of the evidence- so the evidence mysteriously disappears. if after theyre through with you, you even have the money and ability to try to sue, itll just run you deeper and deeper into poverty and mental illness which just ends you right back in the same place that did it to you in the first place. im still dealin with a case that happened in early 2020, ive been going to court every month for 4 years being threatened. if i even tried to make my own case against someone or something, they already see me as a criminal so theyll just throw it out. all that matters to them is money, and poor, disabled, elderly, sick people are how they survive. that specific jail makes $2k EVERY DAY for EVERY INMATE. the worse they treat you, the better for them.

They finally paid attention when a sweet older inmate stayed by my side & finally helped me get their attention. I was only like 26 and like I said, she was elderly. It felt as if her motherly instincts kinda kicked in with me. She was the best. Since I have a history of the same symptoms, I knew exactly what it was, so luckily they took me straight to the ER and I was able to avoid the jail nurse. After 6 hours of waiting in the ER under watch of an officer I was finally admitted and I was released from the jail & they brought me my stuff to the hospital & uncuffed me.

I had at least 8-9 oranges in one sitting, that's all I wanted, fruit! So yummy... Until i got back to the dorm. I had intense stomach pain, sat up and puked all over the concrete ground. I was given a mop and cleaning supplies to clean the mess, but just as everything does in jail, it took a good hour before they got the cleaning supplies to me. The girls around me were surprisingly kind about it, but I was worried at first that they'd want to jump me for being disgusting. We all shared one big room (126 girls per dorm). • Hi I have question in jail why do you always say “bunky” why don’t you call them by there first name? Btw love your channel

    @J_M2-8@J_M2-818 күн бұрын
    • We always called each other bunky or celly. I honestly think bc in jail the turnover can be high so depending on how long you're in there with someone u just say bunky or Kelly. It just depends

  • Your videos are highly informative, but they also make me recoil in disgust at how ridiculously inhumane the US criminal justice system is.

  • Whenever I see your videos I have mixed feelings. On one hand I think how I don’t wanna ever go to jail, and the other is how they treat people with such little dignity in jail based on your videos. Like how can they not help you when you’re so obviously sick?

  • I get that it’s jail and it’s not supposed to be enjoyable, but they could at least treat these people like real human beings. I really don’t have a criminal record, I’ve been arrested for warrants for traffic tickets before, but never anything worse than that. I have been to county jail once because of those tickets, I had three different warrants out of three different towns for three different traffic violations. Two of the towns decided to ROR me because it was so far away from where I got picked up, but one of them wanted to keep me. I was brought to their police station and was booked and then brought to County to await bail or court, which ever came first. The entire time they treated me like garbage, even though I had no criminal background, and I was literally only there for a tail light or brake light ticket (don’t remember which) that I never paid, isn’t it ridiculous? Knowing what I know now, if I ever had to go back to jail, I wouldn’t be so picky, but when I was in there, I held my bladder for about eight hours, (I couldn’t go tot he bathroom in front of ANYONE) I turned down breakfast because I knew my mom was coming to bail me out. I just laid on my mat on the floor the entire time I was there until my mother bailed me out. Boy was she mad.

  • What happens if you find out you're pregnant while you're in jail? Like you didn't know you were pregnant before getting arrested and only find out afterwards.

  • That s*** made me mad when my husband was in jail they had tablets so he could text me anytime he wanted it was like 1:00 a.m. my husband got the stomach flu really bad and needed to see the doctor he had a fever of like 105 they made him wait and wait and wait finally about 10:00 a.m. because I was being generous giving people time to get into work and get all their paperwork done they still had not called him and mind you this is a very small jail there's only 200 people in there I had to call up to the jail and act a fool to get them to get my husband in to see the doctor

  • Im so not trying to be rude….but How has she helped so many people? Like are those people taking notes bc they’re planning to go to jail? This is more entertaining than educational just to see what goes on in there. But to say this has helped many people confused me. I think a few videos of her giving her back story and saying “dont do what i did” or “dont go there” would be more helpful than this content.

    • From what I saw her bunky was on the toilet already. Also when you're really sick some people freeze up and panic a little. I remember when I was around 15 I threw up in my bed bc I panicked. Stuff happens.
