I work for YSRCP party in AP, South India. Forget all that you hear about political tussles in AP, everything is false. In AP, most of the politicians at the end of the day sit on the same table, drink in same bars and share same chakna. Having said that there is a significant change in how leadership is groomed in our parties. It doesn't matter if you are a son of a highly famed MLA/MP but at least for couple of years the son will HAVE to get down to the ground and build his own reputation on his talent before he will be given any significant media coverage. I am sure lessons AP learns will be exported to other states in political arena.

There has to be a national City Governance Act which pushes the accountability to the Mayor who is given a 5 year term just like a CM. An MLA and MLC seem to be doing the same thing.
