Qarun Never ever Thanked Allah For What Allah Gave him. This is a Lesson for All Humankind That If You Show off to The world That I am great than Allah Will take All That he is Given to us in a blink of an eye. I read somewhere that Qarun stayed in Egypt after firaon, as in he didn't get drowned with him because he stayed. Is this correct that he died after firaon? Specially since the way his people are talking to him might be after the tyranny of firaon has ended. Thanks in advance.

Allah is taking about the people of Ad, they were powerful in everything. They were political, economically, and militarily powerful. Everything u name it they had it. Allah gave them everything but they disbelieved in him.

Qarun went to the gathering to show off on his own free fill, attitude and arrogance. I don't know and I am not sure why the speaker has to say "ALLAH Is controlling his heart" but instead it was correct if the speaker had said "ALLAH Known whats in his heart". Once Qarun was there on the right place , then ALLA AZZA WAJALL had a different plan i.e. the earth to swallow him. I think the speakers also should take intensive care when speaking to the public of what they talk about.

I am so sorry to mention, at 2:17, i dont think it is true that Allah controlling his heart. As far as i know that every good deed yes it is from Allah SWT, but every bad deed is from yourself. The Qur'an recitation was nice, but I didn't like the speaker. He doesn't speak clearly and quite a few people are finding his rendition of the story problematic. He makes it sound like Allah Almighty made Qarun that way and then punished him for it.
