She sounds so calm and normal when she says "there may be a vortex in the aisle." Yep, perfectly normal supermarket

Please bring back the 80s-styled commercials! I can't get the Omega Mart jingle out of my head.
I literally cannot get the jingle out of my head. Please help.
For those who weren't aware. Those commercials were done by graphic design artist Mike Diva. Would definitely love to see him do more omega mart stuff

YES
holy shit that would be an amazing next release by Meow Wolf @Meow Wolf
They actually do have one! You see snippets of it in this video, it’s really long and fun. But will sadly probably remain an in person thing only
"Do not eat the meat sculpture, unless you want it to swell out of your mouth!"
Wonder what that's actually like. Wheb I was there, one of the employees was walking around the store while cradling a carton of milk in her arms. I saw another dancing with the veggies in the produce area.

Because omega mart is a tourist attraction
Omega Mart has to be one of the coolest art projects I've ever heard of. We need more stuff like this across the US, this is great for our artistic culture.

The strangest iconic thing I always see even in "regular" American stores is cheese poof balls in giant plastic jars. For me that's a really strange normal thing and I'd like to think it's actually an Omega Mart original product that sort of escaped and started stocking itself en masse in other regular stores
I’m going insane wondering if this is an in-universe documentary or not
They acknowledged the fact that people think it is a real supermarket and that they had to tell people it wasn’t. They also said how the art was made, so aside from a few things it is not in-universe.
Well, it clearly isn't. Was that worth losing your sanity for ?
Gambling is not my scene, because if it weren't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all. So it's nice to finally have a reason to visit Las Vegas.

Well, it is a real place and stuff is happening there so uhhhh
Just to make sure you didn't miss it this is a real place you can go It's sort of an art installation mixed with a freeform mystery adventure indoors
@@ja785y yeah, and it has LORE.
@@ja785y I know! I think it's really cool and I defs wanna go there if I ever go to Las Vegas But what I mean is it's a really good piece of art. It's sorta like the SCP foundation, it's played off as real to make it feel more real, which ads to the spooky factor, except with this it's just strange, cool, and unsettling. That's the closest thing I can compare it to,
I think that is kind of the point. As it gets more and more “real”, the line between art and reality gets more blurred, forcing you to reevaluate what is considered art. It can almost pass off as a real store until you see something that is totally insane. Yeah, something like fish soda is wacky, but it is also not impossible that it exists somewhere. The suspension of disbelief goes a long way until something eventually breaks it, and that is really cool.
I love how they switch between acknowledging omega mart as a real supermarket and just a walk-through art-piece
I REALLY REALLY wanna go to omega mart. I only live like, 10 hours away

The Supermarket without supervision we all wished we strolled through in the 1970s/80s/90s with the overhead Muzak playing.

I finally visited Omega Mart, last week, for my family's Vegas trip, and it was everything I expected, and more!
I’ve been to Vegas for my BIL’s wedding, my honeymoon, a work conference. The last time I stayed for the work conference- I stayed 2 weeks. It was more than enough & I swore I’d never go back. Only Meow Wolf & Omega Mart is pulling me to consider a trip when I am ready.
I first learned of Omega Mart through an imgur post and I've been partially addicted to it since, the strange and surreal on display is completely up every one of my alleys. I've shown it to everyone I know that would even remotely like this sort of thing. I'll probably never get to see it in person before it's gone, but I've adored what I have seen here and there on KZhead.
