  • This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZhead channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 848 subs and > 400 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

    • @@AskJumai Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my KZhead channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a KZheadr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this KZhead thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)

    • @@imaladywith3 Thank you! I was the exact opposite of who I am today and I’m not saying that I am better than anyone else but my old self because I chose to focus on the solutions to my problems and problems are part of life but problems can either be permanent or temporary depending on how we respond and not on how we react. I used to play video games for many hours while eating a bunch of junks, then just scrolling through social media just for the sake of it, hangout with friends who I don’t really wanna be with just to fit in, be part of so many religions just to satisfy my family’s expectations of me, stuck in a career that I hate while hiding my true gender identity, being bullied physically and mentally, you name it, I was a mess but I had enough. I wrote down every reason for changing my life gradually and inspire others through my stories, life lessons, progress, setbacks, mistakes, and so on. I have many plans to make it grow not because of fame or any external rewards but the inspiration I can give to someone who can barely get out of bed in the morning, suffering from depression, or feels like there is no hope anymore. I can totally relate to those situations because I’ve been there and turned my life around. I hope that you can join me with my personal development journey!

  • At 66 I moved to Costa Rica for several years after selling, giving away all my stuff except a big suitcase of clothes. Had no specific plans, no arrangements for when I got there and no funds. At the airport in San Jose, walking into my immediate future I felt so free, physically and otherwise.

    • @OhHapppyDaay I walked into schools asking in English for a job teaching ESL until Isaa c,who became my boss, at 22 being younger than my kids, said, "We've been praying to God for you to show up." Pay was $8/ hour for teaching 33 students. They studied English to get jobs with local American companies paying $1500/month for customer service to Americans here. That was a lot of money compared to the $8 norm. I got to pay it forward. Last day of class my top student said I was the best teacher he ever had. High praise but I did all I could. My advice would be have sufficient income living in another country on your own. I did it the hard way. Nowadays I'm living in Europe working remotely as an author and freelance copyeditor. All the income I want. Whole other, much better experience.

  • Dr Dyer's book arrived today, Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life. I bought it second hand via Amazon. Prior to this, I've been reading 'How Emotions Are Made - The Secret Life of The Brain' by Lisa Feldman Barrett. Dr Dyer's book is based on thinking from about 2.5k years ago. Lisa's book provides some of the most up to date psychology and neuroscientific research (published 2017). The incredible thing here is that much of the science based research points to the teachings of Dr Dyer's book and the Tao Te Ching, such as how we create our own reality though our thoughts. This is based on sensory information, and how we process this information, the emotions that are created from this which direct our thoughts and in turn, our lives. In effect, science is only just catching up with these spiritual teachings. It's crazy - crazy cool. Both books have come in to my life after what might be described as bad stuff happening (which is quickly changing in my mind to a blessing). Anyway, I've ended up here, but prior to all this, I've felt like something has been preparing me over the past few months for the discovery and practice of these teachings.

Thank you so much for sharing your deep insight. Blessings on you & on your amazing, beautiful life's journey ahead.

Donated some, but there are still a lot im so attached to.. Hearing this was very important. The most interesting thing is that I didn’t choose to watch this video. I tapped on it without even seeing what it was. Of all things I could listen to here, I accidentally started listening to this because God, life, the universe wanted me to hear it to teach me what I needed the most at this moment. • The background scenes don't exactly match up with what he is saying. Indeed, very, very distracting!

  • “…The path you have chosen…” I’ve always had a cloud about this statement and I don’t understand it now, but I have to believe God/Universe will help me understand it better by and by. Anyone on this thread that’s willing to share their insight feel free.

  • It sure would be nice if we could all move to Maui and take a year off responsibilities to meditate and exercise. I think I could find joy, peace and balance too. Much harder when you have to slave day in and out to survive and take care of a family. When he did this his kids were grown and self sufficient and he had enough wealth to take a year to do whatever he wanted.

    • Nope. LISTEN to him and quit judging. I spent 6 weeks in Hawaii at a worldclass resort and that was more than enough. Check out WHY you view the life YOU chose as "slaving". Start with being/staying genuinely GRATEFUL every waking moment. GIVE UP complaining, especially to yourself. Find ways to SERVE. Quit JUDGING people, places, things, especially yourself. Be RESPONSIBLE for every aspect of YOUR life. Your entire past is OVER so LET IT ALL GO. You have just this moment. Become present. Be THANKFUL for everything an everyone you encounter. STOP comparing yourself and your life to all others. QUIT the useless habit of worrying. Do not bother COMPARING you and yours to anyone else. MEDITATE at least morning an night. CONTINUE listening to Wayne. HAVE an open heart and mind. Say, constantly.......thank you, God!

  • A lovely story but not realistic when that baby safe in the womb is born and needs more than milk one day. A lovely story for a mature man who made his fortune in his books. But that said I do believe in being grateful and developing inner happiness by being ethical and worthy to be self and contented with that. 🌺🌸
