Cars get dirty when you use them Eddie. Not just pull it out of the trailer in Glamis and park your 250 thousand dollar sand car next to your 500 thousand dollar motor home and just smoke cigars and eat. Lol Just trolling man. Both cars look dope and have a great dune season man.
We’re OK with getting it dirty just have to make sure to clean it good once it comes home

I have the utmost respect for yous guys decision to keep your stuff pristine. To me it would take some of the fun out of enjoying my toys if I’m always worrying about cleanliness. Again it’s yous guys money and y’all spend a lot on your stuff so I get it. Having said all that that car is insane!!! That frame paint with the glitter in it is rad! Love it! Can’t wait to see it on the sand.
Oh we’re gonna enjoy the hell out of these toys but when we’re done we’re gonna make sure we clean them good also

I sat in this car, and that made the difference. This exact car changed my mind. Because of that, I bought my TRX4. You are correct, Rich is amazing. Talk to him, you will learn where all of this amazing engineering, learned history, and the result is the best sand car in the World (Alumacraft is a very close second-because of dirt racing capabilities) I hope to see you out there and set our cars side by side. Mine is not quite as nice as yours, but still the TRX4 model is the best. Only thing I would change is adding the doors. The new doors are a game changer! Awesome car. Awesome company. Tahe care
Awesome, I have always loved Tatum cars also. Most people will never understand why some people spend what they do on a toy! Hopefully you will make a trip out to the Sand Sport Show coming up in a couple weeks. My new Pro R Ultimate will be in the show. I am sure must people would sh*t if they knew how much I just put into a sxs.

Can quickly get up to half a million depending on the engine and transmission package. There’s a couple very heavy hitters out in Glamis. Some with multiple cars.

The problem with deeply treaded front tires is they throw up a lot more sand, which blasts the back of the car more.

Great looking car. I do like the metallic paint. I too, sarcastically was to say sell the dirty car, ha. If you have the money spend it on what you like to do the most. I have inherited a 1971 sandrail, that the last time I drove it I was 15. 45 years ago. Sand mtn, Nevada is where I grew up loving the sand. Never been to Glamis, but did make it to Dumont. If i had the money, I think I would visit all the Sand dune locations. Utah, Colorado, Oregon.

Dude I have an 03 tundra with a total chaos kit and I try to keep it clean when I get back from the desert...different people roll different it's fine
You should see the $725k sandrail Ken Block was driving. I'd expect a better engine for that price. But I guess they get you with all the pretty shit on the unit. Also, the screen acts as a tuner. I have one on my boat. They allow you to access so much shit within the engine/trans. Fuel mix, timing, shifting, etc.

My BIL has a sand car a lot like the Tatum that he got for approx 110K. Has LS7 Corvette motor (and heated seats). So his shop dog/guy give it a nice wash for him, he gets in to move back into the garage. He kind of forgets that he is sitting on a gravel driveway and punches it to show off (paddle tires) and throws enough rocks and gravel behind him to break the windows on 5 of his employees cars. Had to buy 6 or 7 new pieces of auto glass to fix their cars and I am sure some paintless dent repair was required as well. Ooopppsss.
That thing is beyond perfect !! The only question is can you handle it ? Can you drive it like she's built to drive or just cruise around looking sexy ? I would drive the wheels off that thing
"Like this pulley here, that's a no go." But since it is perfectly functional it should be a go go. But the aluminum is a little anodized and not perfectly shiny we are gonna replace it. Question...does the Tatum have heated seats? Cause if it doesn't somebody got burned. Tatum has one hell of a business model that's all I got to say.

The only flaws I saw were some of the welding on the front lower control arms look like they were done by an 8 year old. Other than that it's pretty nice. Black isn't a color I would have chosen for a desert car as you won't be able to touch it with bare hands in the summer.

Had a blast building that car it still one of the nicer cars we put out in the last few years for sure. And about 90% of the cars are built in house little odds and ends come from others but most of the major parts are built in house

Tatum makes over 80% of the parts in house but that may be a low estimate.
You seem to be pretty well off, and there is nothing wrong with buying toys, but always remember to give back to the community that made you what you are. For most people, giving is a lot more satisfying that getting. If you haven't tried it, you should give it a shot. All the money in the world isn't enough to fill an empty heart. But it only takes a little bit of money to change the lives of those who are less fortunate. So yeah, have fun, blow your wad on whatever you want, but please remember to also help those who are a lot less fortunate than you are. Paying forward has never hurt anyone.

This is exactly what desert people were doing before the last recession. Taking home equity lines of credit out, and going out and buying $100k+ desert toys, and then the recession hit, and many of them had to sell everything including their home. Not saying this is what this guy is doing, but there are very very few people who have $250k laying around to buy toys with, that choose to live in basic homes like his.
