Such a great game room tour! We're often asked to do one and I want to but never know how best to do so. We love seeing people respond to the room themselves and to see what THEY find, so I never know what to show off myself. It's a shame though as the game room has changed considerably over the years and it would've been fun to see it go through various forms. Dude, those LEGO sets are legit! Loved you showing the gifts and more personalized pieces--I always enjoy seeing those in collections. That lunchbox trade--did that come with or without food inside? That'd be the deal breaker. Hmmm, could've swore you had more SMS games, wonder where a few of them went? lol That Zelda clock...arina of Time? I kinda want to get some Everdrives but I'm afraid it'll encourage me to stop collecting since I more go for playability...and then I wouldn't need to if I had a one-stop shop... Dude, that art by your nephew is dope! Really love seeing the big box stuff--we like big boxes and cannot lie! Favorite thing about the game room? You--because you rock!

I recently found Shantae and the Pirate's Curse on Switch at a local game store for $50. I think the guy at the counter realized someone had messed up with the pricing, cause he started acting kind of weird and quickly turned his computer screen towards him to make sure my friends and I couldn't see it (he was probably looking the price up on Ebay). He honored the sticker price they had on it and sold it to me, but he definitely knew something was up. They had the 3DS version there as well, and ironically they were selling that one for $120.

I bought those Spiderman/Venom controllers years ago, but I forgot what the package looked like. Some people say they don't care about turbo fire, but I love using it for beat 'em ups and shooters. I remember playing Final Fight on SNES with a turbo controller, and it was awesome because the punching was rapid like a machine gun. LOL

That Game Room as of 2022 is awesome. So many Games for Wii, GameCube, SNES, etc. I definitely love that Robotech Battlecry Collector’s Edition you got and those awesome NES Games which I’ve been collecting for NES more recently especially loose so those games are awesome to have. Great room and collection. I really need to do a tour of my room. I like the wall mounted consoles and I have a pretty decent sized switch collection so loved seeing that. I also have Pirate’s Curse and spent a lot on it, but before it got up to what it's going for now.

Great show!!! Awesome tour. Btw you can use peanut butter on sticker residue to remove it without damaging the plastic. Just let the peanut sit for awhile then wipe it clean. Smells good too 😉

Thanks! Ah, man...I would love to do wall control, problem is our walls are masonry block and the space is oddly sized too for them.. Thinking we're going to go with reeve concealed standards that I put in alot of store fixtures I draw for work and shelf brackets or make a custom slat wall that I can cleat into the ceiling. What's murder right now is lumber prices.

It is huge but if you get a wall mount for it like I did it makes a HUGE difference
It's odd, but some people point out that there is no consistent template on Sega box art. The logo's on the spines are different sizes and fonts, especially on Genesis games.
Yeah that kind of stuff never bothered me
I noticed the yellow NES cart called "Kinsey's beer run". There are alot of odd hacks that have been made. LOL I'm not too familiar with hacks, but I keep up with NES homebrews and prototypes.

I see alot of people collecting massive amounts of switch im wondering if all the collectors editions will hold value they made so much limited run and super rare brand it's hard to believe it will because everyone keeps all that sealed and there will be so much of it....we played our games back in the day not just keep them because they are marketed as rare
They will 100% hold value and once the Switch is over and Nintendo moves onto the next thing they will skyrocket in value.
@@RetroWolf88 I dissagree wii has plummeted and I can't sell mario kart anymore because theres so many on ebay very similar they made so much of it.... I'm sure some stuff will do well I just think the majority people will loose interest. They are making more than wii this time with those other companies...
You should look into some repro boxes for your NES & SNES games! It makes them stick out and good repro boxes are literally indistinguishable from originals. I had all of my GBA boxes pretty much crushed during my last move and when compared, there is no difference. "Purists" might have a fit, but if you're holding on to them, why not? 👍👍
I do like repro boxes quite a bit. Just haven't take then the time to get them yet. Maybe one day!

@@RetroWolf88 There are several good ones, but it would depend on what you were looking for since some specialize in cardboard or hard cases. Would you be looking for original cardboard or hard cases? I feel bad seeing some of those games because they deserve to be in a nice, "home!" lol It was a gut punch when I saw all of mine destroyed and they looked goofy being in those crushed boxes.

Quality over quantity always the way to go imo. All killer no filler. I only buy what I plan to play and if I don’t like something, it’s out the door. But no shame to anyone regardless of how and what they choose to collect. If you’re in it for the love then you’re cool with me. If you’re in it for money/clout, I think a rude awakening may be coming your way but what the hell do I know 🤷🏻♂️
I 100% agree with you quality over quantity. With the exception of me collecting every GameCube game because I will actually be playing and reviewing them so that is a bit different

Are you a Nintendo fan? I noticed most of your big collections are for Nintendo systems, like the GameCube and Switch. I'm a Nintendo fan myself because I played NES and SNES as a kid. As an adult, I also became a Sony fan. I think Playstation controllers have the best D-pad in my opinion.
Nintendo is absolutely my favorite gaming company for a variety of reasons, but I still love and play all consoles

That is the Star Fox Survival Kit which was a Circuit City exclusive release and included a star fox themed soda, toilet paper with game tips written on it (yes you read that right lol) and a door hanger sign thing. No game was included, just some cool goodies

As far as I remember from that video you sold you’re collection so that when you started you’re business you weren’t in a mass amount of debt.
I sold about 50% of my collection. I still had a ton of games left.
