As a religious person I can’t believe Fousy never heard the drowning man story: A religious man survived a shipwreck and prays to god to save him. A random boat comes along to rescue the man but he refuses their help saying “god will save me”. I have bipolar disorder as well. I recognize what it looks and sounds like when I've gone of my meds and spiraled out of control. Thankfully, I have people in my life who make sure I stay on my meds, go to therapy and notice when I am manic. When I was younger, I didn't have this kind of support and sounded like him. It's sad that this documentary didn't contain a therapist who intervened. The only voice of reason was Faze Banks. He kept telling Keemstar to be careful and not to manipulate this man. It's really infuriating to see someone abuse a person who is mentally ill. I hope Fousey is doing better now.

As someone who is studying psychology... his behaviour is the best case study for a manic episode and these videos are gonna end up in a psych classroom somewhere.
I have been studying some psychology and mental illnesses too and it does seem like he is in a manic episode and needs lots of help :/
I have videos of myself during a manic episode but they’re too embarrassing to show anyone, this guy is kinda a hero to me spreading awareness.
The problem is...it seems like these people are more focused on creating a documentary than strap him to a hospital bed to let him get better. Sure they mentioned getting to a therapist but what he needs right now is medications to stabilise himself. He is definitely having a manic episode. Have family members that have mental illness and this is definitely a manic episode. As much as you want to support them and stuff. The best you can do is force them into a hospital for treatment.
kaister901 there is so much you can do when all attempts to get him to a hospital is seen as attempts to get him down, when people tell him to get help he just think they are too slow to be at the same “frequency” with him and that’s why they think he is crazy. At this stage he thinks he’s the rational one and everyone else is just not “woke” enough to be on his level. So you can’t talk him into going to the hospital. You can’t force a grown man to go to the hospital by force, and since he’s not a danger to himself or people around him, the authorities can’t do anything either. Yes what he needs know is medication, and a lot of sleep (I can guarantee he didn’t get much these few days), but if he won’t take them (he think they are stopping him from “manifesting”), the only option left is (1) mix it into his water and food, (2) force it in by force, or (3) wait for the depressive crash when he would probably be more compliant. Like none of them are ethical or easy to do. I’m not saying keemstar has good intentions, he’s very much acting out of self-interest. But really the biggest problems are people around him who are cheering him out, at least keemstar is trying to tell him there is a problem. I saw this podcast where they kept going on about how different Fousey is and how “energised” he is now that he’s off meds, as if that’s a great thing. They are pumping his mania so high and feed his delusions so much right now the depressive crash is going to be so bad, and it would be their fault.
WeiYinChan They will have his blood on their hands. I honestly think they don't care. He needs help and while it's true that you can't force a person. You can send in all this evidence to the mental health hospital. They will come over to get him to the hospital. At least in my country. Whether you are lying or telling the truth. If you lied he was sick. Those consequences will be faced by you later on but they won't just brush of anyone calling in saying a family member needs help. Especially a person that is on meds and refusing to continue on them. He literally said the exact same things that one of my family member said during their manic episode. If you wait till it's bad. You risk them dying. The doctor told us the blood pressure was at 180.... Any longer and it would caused death. So these guys if they have any ounce of integrity. They would pause the money making documentary and get him help. Then like you said. They will probably have his blood on their hands but doesn't seem like it would bother them.

He's flitting from one idea to another without expressing any of them properly, he's come almost completely untethered from reality, is experiencing full on delusions of super-human ability and superiority, he's talking in a goofy sort of pseudo-mystical psycho babble about "manifesting" and "energies" that he believes he controls, he is repeatedly setting completely unrealistic goals and then refusing to accept any responsibility when they don't happen and , most tellingly, he has apparently convinced himself that he is in a position to change the entire planet for the better (using only his "positive energy"), despite quite obviously not even being capable of effecting his own verbal diarrhea at the moment, never mind the world. He needs his lithium and his friends (genuine friends, not entourage assholes) and some peace and privacy, because when the mania eases off and the inevitable slump comes, he's going to be horrified at the way he's behaved. Suicidal depression is quite likely.

I feel like he has severe bipolar disorder. He feels the king of the world right now, believing everything he does is going to work out. He really needs a wake up call. That wake up call is going to hurt him, but he needs it.
I think that he was indeed diagnosed with it, and he said that he was off the meds. (Don't quote me on this as i am not sure).
Omar Jordan the disorder doesnt go away but can be managed. The issue is that you go from two extremes or kinda neutral if you have a severe case. So he is severely manic but he will come down and if he doesnt commit himself to working on managing it he will go into a severe depressive state then up again and yeah. He most likely has bipolar 1 where mania is more extreme vs bipolar 2 is more depressive. I have bipolar 2 but ive been managing it for years with the correct medication and can maintain my emotions and while I still feel mote intense than others I dont get all extreme like this I handle it fairly well and can maintain my life.

He wants to give back to the world and become an icon living. He’s doing what X started. Fousey should be doing donations and foundations. Helping the kids , the spca ect. Then donating some of that money to homes or people who can’t afford to get an education.

This is terrible. This man admitted that the minute he came off his medication he started “thinking clearly”.... he’s having a serious manic episode. And I have no doubt that unless he gets some help he’s going to really injure himself or someone else. This is really really sad, like it’s not funny anymore.

Jared Lord but it’s also dangerous to just suddenly stop taking medication. And some medications aren’t right for everyone, he may need it to be adjusted or something. Regardless, he needs to find a way to be able to control his moods. He’s in an insane manic episode.
Jared Lord and yet there are far more people, like me, that are alive today thanks to medication. Not every medication will work for every patient. Which doctors tell you. They and pharmacists are supposed to give you information about what side effects and warning signs to look out for, since body chemistry is a weird thing. It’s the patient’s responsibility to listen or look at the info/resources provided. Every time I’ve had a bad reaction to a medication, like worsening depression, for example, my doctor has promptly taken me off it and charted the information so that we know what kinds of medications do and don’t work for me. Communication is key. Communication between patient and doctor, between a patient and his/her support system, etc.

Everyone throughout there life had good intentions. We all had a time where we were the bad guy of our story. We all tried to make things better but failed. Keep trying and soon you'll be the angel of many others lives. Everyone is capable of doing something amazing and record-breaking. The only way to do so is to keep yourself in check, don't let narcissism blind you. Don't leave the machine on without proper charge. Don't put your broken foot on the gas pedal. A good thing comes when the source is stable. Helping is amazing and is something we all love to do, protect yourself in order to give the right type of help.

Hi boys, I am a doctor and happened to see this vid. He is clearly going through a maniac crisis. During these types of episodes, patients don’t necessarily hallucinate, but they have feelings of grandiosity as the ones you can see here. They overbook meetings, and they feel they can change the world. All these feelings are something we call “egosyntonic” menaing, behaviors, values, and feelings that are in harmony with or acceptable to the needs and goals of the ego. Patients who are maniac, usually enjoy being maniac, because they feel their meds are actually stopping this fantastic time of mania. Long term, this gets worse and worse, leading to self-destruction and inability to carry with activities of daily living. Wish the best to him. Obviously don’t make fun of him, rather help him seek medical assistance.
