Lisa has 8 world records since she released her two solo songs a couple years ago. Her other one is called Money. It doesn't have an mv but it does have a dance performance video you can react to. Just look up... Money Exclusive Dance Performance Video. The song is entirely in English too. It's actually more popular than Lalisa.

  • You are correct about Thai gold. Thai gold jewelry is 23k (96.5% pure) as opposed to the US standard of max 18k. Additionally, because the labor cost to produce the jewelry is so low, it sells for basically the cost of the gold. Many Thais (including my wife) buy gold jewelry as an investment.

  • Thanks for the reaction, you are one of the few who mention the virtues of this song with the changes in each verse and how Lisa adapts her voice and cadence to each one, showing everything she can do.Those who criticized the song only left it at the level: it is an "egocentric song because it talks about her" And in fact in Korea it was not well received, it had support from its fans outside of Korea.I recommend money and the solos of each of the girls, each one puts their own stamp on it

  • I am the biggest BLINK (BLACKPINK fan). I am a 50 year old American male, married, father of 2 boys (15, 20). My family thinks I am insane, but I heard BLACKPINK 2 years ago and fell down the BP and KPop rabbit hole and may never find my way out! 😂. You should try GIDLE next. They are getting HUGE! I think you will love them. They write and produce all their songs. Very talented. I would start with: “TomBoy”, “My Bag”, “Nude”, and some new songs from the past week off their new 100% English album- “I Do” is beautiful. There are 2 versions of the video - do the one which is more like a move with a boy who meets aliens which are the girls from the band (the other version is on top of a NYC hotel at night, also cool). Their latest song/video last week is called “I Want That” and is a cinematic quality story of women fighting back against abusive men, but the song is a BANGIN’ dance song!

  • i agree with that "bad" example, and I'd add that it sounds like bad auto-tune, too, on top of the flat male vocals. However, there are a LOT of "successful" that are darn near as boring - it's not just "'phoning it in", but not wanting to even make that call in the first place. There aren't many artists who can sing and/or rap like Lisa - take the way she phrases the lines in the "Polisa" scene, for example. It may be down to her being a perfectionist - she REALLY want to be as good as she can, and has the ability and work ethic to be THAT GOOD, at damn near anything she does!
