I like all the three traps. But number one has an advantage : you don't need to wait until the sparrow hits the "trigger" bait. I think I understand the reason to build these traps. It's a challenge to catch the birds and release them after. Excellent job!

Everyday. Instead they are pest for every farmers in South East Asia. But no one would hunt them, because they are priceless. They have no predator either, because there is no more eagle, falcon, snake etc. here. The only threat for them, is only cats. 🐱

Nathan Robertson These aren't English Sparrows. They are Eurasian Tree Sparrows. There is a small population of them in the US, located almost exclusively to the city of St. Louis. They're definitely not as aggressive though, as they haven't expanded their range since they were transplanted there.

ok so im not the only who thinks that the man makes these videos for views, we won't need to catch sparrows for food in the future, there are a lot of bigger animals to hunt for i think. he uses the same animals, he keeps them and for videos he lets them go outside for trapping them, it feels so wrong. its just a hypothesis but something isn't right about this channel, just as the fake animal rescue ones.

That's because every bird that didn't thought something was up got trapped. It's how evolution works, if you apply strong pressure then the species rapidly acquires ability to cope with it.

And i love how on the 3rd trap the bird went all around to see if there was a better way to get at the food. Its funny how FOOD is always used for trapping any animals. The one thing that we all need.
I like all the three traps. But number one has an advantage : you don't need to wait until the sparrow hits the "trigger" bait. I think I understand the reason to build these traps. It's a challenge to catch the birds and release them after. Excellent job!

They are so cautious, and very observant too which is hard to tell with their erratic head movements. I really like the way one of them kept looking back at the bottle mechanism as it inched deeper inside.

Everyday. Instead they are pest for every farmers in South East Asia. But no one would hunt them, because they are priceless. They have no predator either, because there is no more eagle, falcon, snake etc. here. The only threat for them, is only cats. 🐱

Nathan Robertson These aren't English Sparrows. They are Eurasian Tree Sparrows. There is a small population of them in the US, located almost exclusively to the city of St. Louis. They're definitely not as aggressive though, as they haven't expanded their range since they were transplanted there.
