  • Karlsson seems like a really good dude. He puts the team first, he's a good leader. He had a heartfelt speech accepting this year's Norris where he broke down crying talking about the sacrifices his wife makes for his career.

  • First season in ages that he has been more or less at full healt. The play off season in 16/17 was amazing to watch. They came ONE goal from a SC final, which I think they would have won.

  • He was a powerhouse in Ottawa's run in the 2017 playoffs. It sucks he hasn't had or seen any success ever since Edit: my bad, someone brought to my attention San Jose's conference final run in 2019. But still, no luck ever since

  • He's one of my all time favourite players. He was so much fun to watch and a very likeable guy off the ice. If he hadn't gotten injured by Matt Cooke and didn't have that injury heading into the 2017 playoffs, his career numbers would have been unreal. Now it looks like those injuries are behind him and I'm glad he's back to his old self - I'm just happy he's in the West.

    • It was pretty seeing him leaving Ottawa Senators but look what Ottawa Senators got back, that's the positive of trading Karlsson

    • @@coreyhill681 for sure.. he helped us kick start our rebuild... now he's helping the sharks kick start theirs.. and I bet whenever Crosby retires, the Pens trade him away to kick start their own re-build too

    • I always enjoyed watching Karlsson play in Ottawa, plus I find him a genuine good guy. Alas, him leaving Sharks is a happy day because that contract was honestly suffocating sharks rebuild efforts.

  • Can you do a video on how to analyze hockey plays and hockey in general? Also how to follow the off-season trade business and what makes a good or bad deal and how to tell the difference. Once again I love these videos.

  • I've been watching your videos like crazy over the last few days. Honestly there is no one else on KZhead who has the quality that you do. These short form quasi documentaries are pretty much professional level. I have a request. I know the odds of this being taken seriously are near zero but hey. Can you do a retrospective on Karlsson vs doughty 2016. As a sens/Karlsson fan i always feel that he was robbed of that Norris. But if anyone can form a legitimate argument for or against this i believe it's you. Or hey, maybe it could be a video series. "Most Contested awards retrospective"

  • Hats off to hockey players, they will play through pretty much anything. Most pro athletes get a hangnail or stub a toe and they're on the I.R. for two months.

    @gabrielidusogie9189@gabrielidusogie91899 ай бұрын
    • I think the Sens will make the playoff berth this next season but won’t get the chip. Not with teams like CAR and NJD and NYR still pretty depthy.

  • San jose trading for him was so brain dead they already had a puck moving defencemen and as soon as burns left he was back to full form

  • There would be nothing greater than Karlsson having a career year in Pittsburgh and getting 80-100 points...again...just to shut all of you meathead Canadian naysayers up.... First year ever he gets to play with at least 'just a little over the hill' stars like Malkin and Crosby.

    • He's always had it just wish he would have found it sooner with us. He's a star and I think when he came to sj it was stacked and he was battling injuries. So glad to see him win the Norris even with -20 something you just need to let him cook.

  • All this talk about points ignores that for large portions of his career he's been a defensive liability who has relied on strong defensive partners to compensate for his defensive shortcomings.

    @marantz1@marantz19 ай бұрын
  • That injury that he had, should've been suspended, but nothing, ,ridiculous. If you look very carefully, it's easy to see his leg bending towards the leg 🦵, it's very obvious it was a kicking motion
