I'M SO HAPPY that I made it back to the incredible East African nation of TANZANIA! My previous (and only) visit here was back in Jan 2018, where I only visited the island of Zanzibar. But I really missed out because the people, culture, food and nature on the mainland is just about as good as you can find anywhere on this planet.
My friends at Qatar Airways reached out and offered to fly me and Deanna on business class to Tanzania, and we couldn't say no! I've never had a better flying experience in my life... and Tanzania was just amazing! We began our trip in Arusha, then went to Ngorongoro Conservation area before heading deep into the Serengeti for 3 nights and finally ending in a town called Moshi. Tanzania is a phenomenal country inside and out, and I can't wait to show you more of this country over the coming 2 weeks!

  • Drew, so glad you made it to the country that is STILL in my heart! I lived there as a missionary from 2000-2005. I still keep in contact with my friends there. I still speak KiSwahili too, ha ha. We lived in Mwanza which is the second largest city there and at the bottom of Lake Victoria. The lake has fresh tilapia they line up on the grills for less than $2 a fish!!!!!!

    • @@vigneshsajith You appear not to understand the difference between skin colour and ethnicity or "race". Africa as more ethnic diversity than Europe+Asia combined. A Dinka person and a Khoisan person are more different from one another that an Indian and Chinese. Google if you don't believe it. Asia is very diverse but its 2nd to Africa.

  • Absolutely the most beautiful video.. When my sister passed from Covid a month ago, she was --in her delirium, minutes before passing, she was smiling and saying she was floating over the forest in Tanzania; where she had been a few years before. I am now sure she passed in peace; the hot air balloon part of the video must be what she "felt" or experienced, I didn't go with her so I don't know. Indeed, it was the most beautiful way to leave this Earth. Keep it up! You touch lives in more ways than you can imagine. Thanks for the joy and healing to our loss.

  • Drew this is some of the most beautiful footage you've captured. The shots of the giraffe with its tongue out and the cheetah close-up during the intro sequence were both strong in quality and it brought me into the wildlife of Tanzania. I'm so glad you and Deanna were able to experience it all together. I'd love to go on a safari one day and hopefully I'm able to do so.
