I see many on jewtube who go out of their way to remove the IBC tote from its protective cage and buy many cans of high end spray paint to prevent algae from forming and then putting it back in it's cage thinking problem solved. Or they buy an expensive tote cover, hmmm. It doesn't matter what color (dark colors are worst) they paint it because it is still being warmed by DIRECT sunlight. I'll just wrap my caged tote with a light colored camouflage tarp, using zip ties to secure it, keeping it cool, easy breezy, real simple.
