How To Clean And Lube A Rubik's Cube

2014 ж. 25 Ақп.

I show how to disassemble, clean, lubricate and reassemble a Rubik's cube to make it smoother and faster. Basically an overhaul of the cube. I bought this Rubiks cube at a thrift store for $1. I am not sure how old it is, but it was hard to turn and would get jammed up. After cleaning it and then lubrication with some CRC Heavy Duty silicone spray, it moved pretty smoothly. Maybe not as smoothly as a speed cube, but way smoother then when I bought it.

  • Thanks! The old rubik is definitely easier to assemble and disassemble than the newer ones. I had a bit of a tough time, but I got it!

    • +Jack Wang what's Florian mod ?.. and where to buy a speedcube?

      @user_ryoto@user_ryoto7 жыл бұрын
    • +Dave Tarcena you can buy a speed cube at thecubicle.us or speedcubeshop, just search one up. :) florian modding is where you sand the pieces to create a small holes between the center piece and the edge/corner pieces. It's hard to explain but it makes your cube faster. However just get a cheap speedcube lol, it's way easier.
