In this video I provide an in-depth introduction of my new 2023 Lexus LX600 F Sport. The blacked out accents on this Ultra White paint looks phenomenal. This is the Land Cruiser 300 series we get in the US, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. This feels like $111K… the 200 series I had before, the 2021 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition did not feel like a $100K+ vehicle. Built in Japan, body on frame design, and exceptional reputation is what led me to buy this.

I’m a Lexus owner I currently drive a RCF have had a is350 F sport and NX hybrid so that you understand I get why people buy these vehicles. But in my humble opinion the Grand Wagoneer have been out for a few years now and although not a Lexus has worked out all the kinks and recall issues enough to be an equal contender. The series 3 Grand Wagoneer has messaging front seats heated and cooled front and rear seats captains chairs in rear , heated steering wheel , surprisingly amazing quality leather all over , front passenger and rear entertainment screens, refrigerated center consul same as LX , an adult size third row with reclining third row seats and still has space with all the seats up . Not to mention sun shades in the second row just like the Lexus a rear sunroof and adjustable height air ride suspension just like the Lexus . I get it i can already hear someone saying yeah but it’s a Jeep and just wait till XYZ will break.Those people tend to forget there are plenty of old jeeps still driving around just fine and this isn’t the early 2000s where they where two different class vehicles. Many companies have improved their quality and have had just as relatable engines . I’m just pointing out that for the money they are similar but it’s obviously personal preference . If it were just about comfort and functionality not looks or branding the Grand Wagoneer series 3 has it beat by a hair . Some people want the prestige of having a name like Lexus and I get it it’s associated with reliability and luxury like I said I have a RCF . Yet the reason why Lexus exist is because wealthy people couldn’t get on board with the idea of buying a Toyota because it wasn’t prestigious enough. So Toyotas branding department came up with the idea of naming Toyotas a different name and dressing the interiors up a bit to get them to sell more in America . Thus the name L. EX .US was born . Luxury-EXports to US . And yes they sell for a good reason they are very nice vehicles. I find that Lexus and Toyota has a problem with their interiors looking a tad outdated compared to all its direct competitors. It’s like they stay 2-3 years behind and say the old “ if it ain’t broke don’t fix it “ line when questioned about it yet charge just as much as everyone else . At the very least I feel like your vehicle needs some ambient lighting a chrome delete especially for the Fsport trim a hidden rear window wiper as you pointed out and a tad bit more room in the cargo area with the seats up . I get that it doesn’t have a panoramic moon roof because in off-roading situations it’s not ideal but are you realistically going to go on heavy duty trails to the point where you’d tweak the pano roof so much it would stop functioning like on a Ford Raptor?

GX550 might make the LX irrelevant. I don’t see the LX lasting another generation in the US.

Sweet ride! I often do some searches for the previous V8 LX but then I get back in my GX and curiosity goes away...lol! Some day an LX will be in my life! Enjoy!

Congrats again. We got a black f sport a day after you got your white one. So far how do you compare with your landcruiser? We still have a 2016 Lexus LX570 and a 2021 Landcruiser, and compared to the 5.7 V8 engine it’s louder and of course not as smooth. The torque from this vehicle is much better though.

If its possible then you should add 295/65/18 inch all terrain tyres. I read in the forums 275/60/20 easily fit.

@@rishinarang9966 no, very few vehicles are as big as the Escalade ESV. We really need the spacious 3rd row AND spacious cargo area beyond the 3rd row. Seating was rarely the issue, it was not having room out back for strollers and such.

How do you compare it to the sequoia TRD PRO , I’m cross shopping these Sequoia seems like a bargain 30k less And little more power with the iforce max.

I love the way the Fsport looks- I’m hoping the 24’ has Lexus Teammate (hands free driving), similar to Cad-super cruise.. If so, I’m a buyer! The three main weaknesses in LX vs the luxury competition - lack of teammate/autonomous driving , no interior ambient lighting and no massage seats(no biggie’).. Overall, incredible suv!

@@boxoffisa Yes indeed. Its proven tech and currently deployed in suv's/cars and much lower price points. The level two autonomous systems have traffic jam assistance features that are so incredibly helpful in daily commutes. Lexus has "Team-mate" (level 2) in the RX other models. I hope they bring it up to the 100K+ flagship SUV in their lineup soon!

This vehicle needs a new infotainment center with brand new big screen. Looks very off the way screens are sitting on each other. It also needs a big full moonroof. Also needs retractable footrest when you open the door. Also they need to offer automatic sun shades for this price. Lexus also needs to offer longer version on this LX to compete with escalades and navigators of the world. Its a great vehicle but I feel it needs a big refresh.

Correction, it is built in Japan, but not in the Tahara factory. It is built in the Yoshiwara factory.. but what an awesome vehicle! Congrats!

I want to get this truck so bad but the lack of features at this price point is mind boggling. No panoramic sunroof, no front massaging seats, rear manual sunshades, no rear entertainment screens. Infotainment screen already looks outdated. Dual screens have never worked. All these features can be found on cheaper vehicles

I’m not sure I would buy a Ram TRX for over $90k, let alone $100k.
The screens look tacked on and not integrated. But other than that this is a beautiful ride.
I would never get one. It’s too pretty to have fun with. I would be afraid of damaging it.

I am personally waiting for mid cycle update and maybe last update refreshed model.. this lx needs to be tweaked a lot. Starting with that awful center stack. Expect the refresh lx to have same infotainment center as gx550 and new rx. Electric version coming. More power. Wait wait wait folks. The mark Levinson system I heard is not as good as gx460. I wish u didn't pay over msrp when a dealer on u tube had 2 of these for sale at msrp yesterday. But it's just money. Enjoy and keep it for 10 years
I bet you a Million dollar you will sell/trade this Lexus in less than 6 months. With your history of buying and trading/selling. As soon as the new GS comes out you'll get that then sell it again then buy it again and again and again and again. Prove me wrong. I won't be surprise if you sell or trade the Escalade.
