For the first time ever, Dacre Stoker, great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker, is working with Irish filmmakers Jason Figgis and John West to bring us a special documentary film about the fascinating and often mysterious life of Bram Stoker and his most iconic creation, Dracula. Selecting many rare and fascinating pieces from his life-long research into this iconic author is a rare treat for fans, scholars and vampire enthusiasts.
Screenwriter, John West, sat with me to discuss how this project came to be, the necessity to crowdfund, and reveals some startling discoveries along the way such as that time Bram came face to face with the number one suspect in the Jack The Ripper case.
