Ilja makes everyone he works with look like a beast. He just does everything so well. The facial expressions, the selling, and his offense looking brutal. Hope he kills it on the main roster. As for Ilja, id rather see him as Vinci's mystery partner against Gunther and Kaiser rather than him join Imperium. He and Gunther are much better as adversaries. It will have that same KO and Sami vibe of 'we are destined to do this forever' like when they had their rivalry after joining the main roster.

Ilja makes everyone he works with look like a beast. He just does everything so well. The facial expressions, the selling, and his offense looking brutal. Hope he kills it on the main roster. But man what a pop that was for Trick. Wasn’t sure if they would pull the trigger and give it to him but HBK shows us once again he knows what is right for business.
I hope they change Ilja's theme because his current one is so generic and undeserving of him honestly.

What a great match. Dragunov looked strong as he gets called up and he helped make Trick look like a million bucks putting him over. Both Dragunov and Trick are freaking stars.

Melo hits nothing but net and as he’s walking away ilja covers trick kicks out Melo then comes back to the ring tries to use a chair but misses and trick hits the knee and knocks Melo out of the ring. Then ilja goes for torpedo Moscow trick ducks hits the knee on ilja covers 1-2-3 new champ

Congrats Trick. He will be a fine nXt champ until his time comes to join Melo and Ilja on main roster. Ilja made him look like a beast tonight and credit to both for a great match. As for Ilja, id rather see him as Vinci's mystery partner against Gunther and Kaiser rather than him join Imperium. He and Gunther are much better as adversaries. It will have that same KO and Sami vibe of 'we are destined to do this forever' like when they had their rivalry after joining the main roster.
Congrats Trick! Hope you enjoy your run as NXT Champ & Ilja can't wait to see him on main roster!
