История группы началась в 1991 году, когда солист William Narraine повстречался с известным продюсером Роберто Занетти (Savage). В 1992 году был выпущен сингл “Please don’t go”, ставший хитом по всей Европе и проданным тиражом более 5 млн. экземпляров. Затем последовали не менее успешные синглы “We all need love”, “Who’s fooling who”. В настоящий момент на счету Double You девять альбомов. Наибольшего успеха проект добился в Италии и Бразилии. Так альбом «Forever» был целиком посвящён группой своим бразильским фэнам.
Double You is an Italian Eurodance group founded in 1985, when William Naraine (singer) started producing demos with Franco Amato and Andrea de Antoni.
In 1992, they had sold more than three million records and the single "Please Don't Go" was a success.

  • I remember early 90's working in a department store and this video came on the tv's. It's still so vivid in my mind. Something about it just felt good. Huge nostalgia when I hear this now. Still in my top 5 all time favorites. This one or the KWS version.
