The movie was okay. Would have loved some real Amy pics or shorts in it. Of her singing! More Songs and not SUCH an abrupt end of the movie. On the end credits pics and Songs of Real Amy would have been great!

it was so good, however it did feel rushed.
It could feel rushed, or you can think of it as how quick her career and life came and gone. She was only famous for a short amount of time, at that time of her being alive. Obviously now she’s one of the most beloved human beings ever. But yeah.

I'm a nurse. I worked in Hospice for 10 years. I've witnessed the acute divide in families during such a hard time. So the response by all people that loved Amy isn't unexpected. I'm going to see the movie on opening day. I'm bringing tissues.

Wow haters that's a bit strong for people with a different opinion
I watched it, I didn’t like how they put such a huge emphasis on her grief and conflicts. She was such a funny person and they sadly didn’t capture that too well. Another issue is costumes. They barely show the colorful iconic outfits she wore. The reds, yellows, pinks, teal and her most iconic yellow peplum yellow dress with red hoops were all skipped. They only recreated dark colored dresses in performances. Overall it was mid, but making this a movie and not a series was a huge error. If they really wanted to touch on sensitive topics they should’ve done a series not a movie. An icon’s darkest moments shouldn’t outweigh their light, and sadly that’s what this movie does.

If you guys like the actress and feel she gave her best Amy impression and did a good job that's great and maybe you're right once again i didn't see the movie I'm going off of the trailer. As for me i wouldn't leave my house and pay to see it. I might watch it when it streams one day when there's nothing else to watch and may end up loving it and then again maybe not. it was like a low budget student film, so disappointed

Marisa Abela is remarkable. this is a kind of trash /youtube feature, designed to get views. i have absolutely no interest in what nutcranking fans think. most of them have zero understanding or appreciation of her classic jazz and bebop - to hiphop - musical background. it is the kind of music that they would never listen, for some obvious reasons.
