Mark Pollard reveals one of his closely guarded tactics that he has been using to catch BIG BAGS of carp. Many venues have limits on poles, but this is a great way of making sure those limits can be pushed!

  • Would you try and plumb up to find the depth? Or start at a shallow depth and work your way down until you find the fish? Or would you just add a swan shot to plump up because of the swing?

  • I really don't see the attraction of carp fishing in overstocked puddles.

    • No everyone does, but the majority of virtually all match fishing brand's sales come from anglers fishing commercial fisheries. We have plenty of videos on natural venues, for anglers that prefer this style of fishing.

    • It’s not for me either but those top flight boys would compete with the top flight boys on a natural venue given some practice time, good anglers are good anglers regardless of there choice of venue

    • For me commercials are a testing ground for new tactics and gear. I for example use commercial tactics on a local river in the summer for catching good carp. Just with different baits.
