  • UV-sterilisation is by UV-light; it only sterilises the surface of things. Putting a jar of powder into a UV-steriliser won’t actually sterilise all the powder, only the surface where the light hits.

    • It probably goes into the trash when cleaning the jars. If you did big charges, you could scrape or melt the rest into lipsticks. Unless you love the colour enough to save leftovers (maybe a small pan full) it gets disposed. But you could mix it with lipbalm for a tinted lipbalm.

    • Make up is not fixable unless you're looking to get pink eye if it's eye make up or even blush and a staph infection if it's lipstick

  • I’m not sure on the Vaseline lipsticks, it’s not really great as a lip balm or anything and leaves a greasy feeling.. maybe coconut oil would be better?

    • Vaseline is good for anything, dry lips, keep your shoes waterproof on a rainy day, fix your hair, have anal sex, starting fire.

  • How do you get the Vaseline to keep its shape once it’s back to room temperature 😂 do you mix wax in or? Bcuz I’ve never seen chilled Vaseline retain the shape it was chilled into after warming back up or when it’s hot outside, just curious

  • Could you give an idea of the tools you use ? I can see you use a typical beaker and hot plate etc but as far as the molds for the lipsticks where can you get them? I’ve worked in the beauty industry as a hairstylist/makeupartist and always just scraped my tubes into pallets! But for personal use this is incredible!! You should give a class on this! It’s incredible!
