    • I'm in Cosmetology and Barber school. Everyone gets the training for recognizing face shape and what hair styles help give that ideal shape (oval face shapes are societies ideal face shape) some people just don't want to hear the stylists opinion. Others only care about the stylists opinion. Either way most people won't bring it up unless you ask your stylist

    • That’s why I always ask my stylist her opinion and end it with, whatever you think will look best. They almost always give me what I initially asked for but make it look good in a way that suits me. Don’t be afraid to ask and take their suggestions, especially if you trust them.

  • The reason i love barbers, specifically good barbers, is they follow the whole "customer is always right" but only to a point. Barbers always try to give you what you want but the customers also only know so much. Good barbers know how to give you what you want while also making sure it looks good

    • It’s pretty simple if you have a regular sized forehead get a taper fade or a mid fade , and if your forehead is larger , grow bangs to cover it and get a low taper , growing out the back and sides as well .
