After returning from America, where she’d studied and competed for Stanford University, Little admits she almost quit athletics at the beginning of attending medicine school in Sydney because she was grieving not having the life that she’d enjoyed in the US. Little, who was born in America to Australian parents, said her time in the States allowed her to make great friends and form an affinity with America that she previously didn’t have. It also opened her eyes to the opportunities available around the world, while learning the American college system was unmatched for someone wanting to excel in athletics and academics.
