September, 2021. Watching this after his penalty save last evening vs West Ham, keeping that Mark Noble shot out to save 2 points for us. ❤️ Love this guy. Forever.. forever... will. Saved me, and many like me, from a lot of sleepless nights throughout our twenties. A club legend....!! Badly want him to get his hands on another title in the United shirt before he hangs his boots.

Ive said it before and I’ll say it again, de gea’s 17/18 season was the best season by a united player in the premier league era. It was quite literally a Messi-like goalkeeping season. He should be remembered as a club legend.

The best thing I like about De Gea is that he doesn't just save it, he places the ball into safe places away from the goal or strikers. He is thinking one step ahead. Saved Utd so many times. Need him back to this level.

There was a point in his career that I was so confident in 1v1 situations and shots from 18 yards out that there was no way they were going in. In 2020, I'm on the fence about letting him go but there was a point in his career where he was so jaw droppingly stunning. Its a shame we couldn't put a better team around him. He won't go down as our greatest keeper but he may be our best ever keeper.
