love the listeners choice for this episode i Have it literally on repeat 🎶 I love every episode dearly and cant wait until purified comes back to Chicago even though we already brought in the New Year with Nora. Literally obsessed with the music this record label puts out. Been listening since I accidently discovered in 2018 and saw Nora for the first time at Spring Awaking in Chicago back in 2019 as she opened for Claptone. Since then I have seen her 9 Times and cherish meeting her twice and being in her top spotify listeners 0.001% for the past 3years. As much as I appreciate channels like this, Could you please not upload so many videos. I mean there are just more hours of music on this channel than I will ever find the time to listen to. I think like a lot of youtube channels unfortunately, there is just way too much content. It simply isn't feasible to listen to it all. Perhaps make compilation of only the absolute best songs?

@@nfmosphotos4624 How do you find the time to listen to every single mix, that's like hundreds of hours. Do you not listen to any other musicians as well? Personally I think this is a trend with a lot of youtube creators. They literally have hundreds if not thousands of hours of content plus continue to make more. When I factor in everything else going on in my life plus the fact that I appreciate variety and watching other channels, it is virtually impossible for me to listen to every single mix here or else where. That's why as I said I think youtube channels should have less videos of more substance. Quality over Quantity. I suppose on a wider scale it's one of the problems with the internet, There is simply too much content out there, such that navigating to a particular piece of information or media can become unnecessarily tiresome and complicated. I often say, with more information comes more misinformation.

@@wp912 misinformation? It’s music, not a political podcast. You are definitely overthinking it if you think you have to listen to every mix. And her mixes are definitely quality, it’s not like she’s releasing a new one every day, it’s weekly. And again, it’s music. I listen to it while I’m doing other things also, driving, working out, working on my computer, etc. it’s the same as a radio show, with new tunes being introduced every episode. Do you call the radio station and tell them that they are playing too many songs? Again, you are way overthinking this. Play it for enjoyment not out of obligation to collect them all.

@@nfmosphotos4624 Yes I would call up the radio show and tell them they are playing too many songs if those songs were no good and merely acting as 'fluff' material. By the way I was not equating misinformation to too much music content. I was simply making a comparison to the problem with the internet as a whole to the state of content on youtube. I remember growing up there were shows like Top of the Pops, for very good reason. The general public simply will never have the time to sift through 1000's of hours of music to find ones they actually like. You say you listen to this show almost as though it is just background noise for you, while you drive or do other things. I'm not like you and nor is the entire audience of listeners. I like to appreciate music, I like to revel in it, to listen to it intently. If I put on an album or compilation of music I like, I won't be doing anything else with my time other than enjoying the music and maybe dancing. I don't listen to it whilst I do other things, to me that's the equivalent of putting on a good film while I have a conversation or do something with my hands. No, when I listen to an artistic medium it has my full attention. That is the problem with content on youtube, there is simply too much of it. There needs to be people, perhaps who work for Nora (and other channels of course, I am not singling out Nora in anyway) that compile playlists of only the absolute best songs and create sort of like mixtapes or albums. That way people like you can still put on a Nora playlist and enjoy it whilst you do other things and people like me can also enjoy a more discerned selection.

@@wp912 the overwhelming majority of Nora’s followers want even more mixes from her not less. If you think it’s too much, stop listening to them. No one is forcing you. Just this mix alone I was introduced to five new songs I want to play in my own dj sets soon. In the dj scene there are hundreds or more of new songs being introduced every week, it doesn’t make sense to ignore those and just try to do monthly or yearly compilations.

As much as I appreciate channels like this, Could you please not upload so many videos. I mean there are just more hours of music on this channel than I will ever find the time to listen to. I think like a lot of youtube channels unfortunately, there is just way too much content. It simply isn't feasible to listen to it all. Perhaps make compilation of only the absolute best songs?

@@nfmosphotos4624 How do you find the time to listen to every single mix, that's like hundreds of hours. Do you not listen to any other musicians as well? Personally I think this is a trend with a lot of youtube creators. They literally have hundreds if not thousands of hours of content plus continue to make more. When I factor in everything else going on in my life plus the fact that I appreciate variety and watching other channels, it is virtually impossible for me to listen to every single mix here or else where. That's why as I said I think youtube channels should have less videos of more substance. Quality over Quantity. I suppose on a wider scale it's one of the problems with the internet, There is simply too much content out there, such that navigating to a particular piece of information or media can become unnecessarily tiresome and complicated. I often say, with more information comes more misinformation.
@@wp912 misinformation? It’s music, not a political podcast. You are definitely overthinking it if you think you have to listen to every mix. And her mixes are definitely quality, it’s not like she’s releasing a new one every day, it’s weekly. And again, it’s music. I listen to it while I’m doing other things also, driving, working out, working on my computer, etc. it’s the same as a radio show, with new tunes being introduced every episode. Do you call the radio station and tell them that they are playing too many songs? Again, you are way overthinking this. Play it for enjoyment not out of obligation to collect them all.
@@nfmosphotos4624 Yes I would call up the radio show and tell them they are playing too many songs if those songs were no good and merely acting as 'fluff' material. By the way I was not equating misinformation to too much music content. I was simply making a comparison to the problem with the internet as a whole to the state of content on youtube. I remember growing up there were shows like Top of the Pops, for very good reason. The general public simply will never have the time to sift through 1000's of hours of music to find ones they actually like. You say you listen to this show almost as though it is just background noise for you, while you drive or do other things. I'm not like you and nor is the entire audience of listeners. I like to appreciate music, I like to revel in it, to listen to it intently. If I put on an album or compilation of music I like, I won't be doing anything else with my time other than enjoying the music and maybe dancing. I don't listen to it whilst I do other things, to me that's the equivalent of putting on a good film while I have a conversation or do something with my hands. No, when I listen to an artistic medium it has my full attention. That is the problem with content on youtube, there is simply too much of it. There needs to be people, perhaps who work for Nora (and other channels of course, I am not singling out Nora in anyway) that compile playlists of only the absolute best songs and create sort of like mixtapes or albums. That way people like you can still put on a Nora playlist and enjoy it whilst you do other things and people like me can also enjoy a more discerned selection.
@@wp912 the overwhelming majority of Nora’s followers want even more mixes from her not less. If you think it’s too much, stop listening to them. No one is forcing you. Just this mix alone I was introduced to five new songs I want to play in my own dj sets soon. In the dj scene there are hundreds or more of new songs being introduced every week, it doesn’t make sense to ignore those and just try to do monthly or yearly compilations.
