In Episode 33 of the Boxing Social Podcast, Rob Tebbutt sits down with renowned trainer and former professional fighter Mark Tibbs.
Tibbs discusses his early years in the sport, growing up while his father Jimmy was in prison and looks back at his time working with heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte and two-weight world champion Billy Joe Saunders.
With an ever growing stable, Tibbs talks the development of heavyweight prospect Johnny Fisher, as well as light-heavyweight talent Johnny Hedges and unbeaten flyweight Harvey Horn.

  • Both mark and his dad come across as very humble, I always enjoy their interviews. You can tell that he’s not one for the limelight and is out of his comfort zone in these situations. 👍

  • Rob. Is there anyway you can arrange an interview with a BBBC referee? Do BBBC allow it? Would be great to have a perspective from a referee - what goes through their mind during a contest.

    • To be fair no one knows what happened for sure between them dillian aint an arsehole and after seeing how this so called trainer treated Billy Joe it's pretty obvious hes clueless, He's blagged his way through in boxing just cause his dad was a Great trainer , he certainly ain't the sharpest tool in the box.
