so today i found out about taemin in a tiktok where an army was saying that bts has the top 3 best dancers in kpop, and since i am also an army and that the only group i stan is bts (don't get me wrong, i also know some other kpop groups that i listen to too), i was agreeing with it. Then i saw the comments and they were all like "it could be true but taemin exists", "if you don't know taemin you must be new to kpop" etc, sooo being a bit interested i typed his name in the tiktok hashtags and i started to watch random videos where he was dancing, singing, and also some cute moments. Idk how to explain but the man really intrigued me. So i decided to watch some performances on youtube, but just by searching "taemin" there was a WHOLE bunch of videos (shorts, perfomances, taemin moments, music videos and practices etc) and i didn't know where to start so i just scrolled then i came across this video. OMFG HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO BE THIS TALENTED LIKE TAEMIN IS A WHOLE PACKAGE ALONE HE IS THE EPITOME OF PERFECTION. From his talents, amazing dancing and singing abilities, passion, dedication, and creativity, to his loving and caring personality that caught my eyes in some other videos, i fell in love. I AM SO GRATEFUL I FOUND OUT ABOUT HIM AND I CAN'T WAIT TO KNOW MORE

Taemin’s the king of CBC which stands for Complete Body Control! It took him years and years of exercising, practicing, understanding and discovering the functionality, ability and reaction of every single nerve and muscle in his body. This is both mentally and physically extremely exhausting even with the benefits of a 150% of talent, passion, dedication, strong will and determination! All of this makes it possible for him to continue to develop and improve even further beyond the „impossible“ despite ingenious achievements already made! Taemin is a PHENOMENON. He’s the embodiment and definition of a true ARTIST. ♥️

But in all seriousness? He's the ace of aces, the idol's idol, your bias's ultimate bias. TINee Taeminnie may not be super popular like a lot of other amazing KPop artists or as widely known, but his influence within the industry speaks volumes. From trendsetting with his fashion to trendsetting with experimental music, insane duality to dance moves that would break the ankles of anyone else that tries to keep up or imitate, he is the king of KPop! PERIODT.

What may have convinced the SM judge during his audition : - He crossed the line on the ground despite being told to not do it > he was noticed for this and can demonstrate that no matter the rule he needed space to own the music the best way possible. -he was on the beat (when tho others contestant weren't, so even more noticeable), so was actually dancing and just not moving his body randomly. -he had clean and sharp moves when the others were sloppy. -he was wearing adequate clothes to dance and not some school uniform making the judge think the contestant are taking things lightly without preparing the audition. - he was pretty young despite the accuracy of his movements so a lot of potential. And the most important : He was attracting everyone. Every contestant stopped or slow down at some point to stare at him instead of focusing on their own moves so he had the "idol/star" potential in him.

I used to think Jimin was the ONE. But recently, Taemin’s unattainable body control and swagger is just applaudable, different gravy.
I dont know all the kpop members but agree that Jimin is probably the best as he stood out for me. Then I started seeing Taemin and it was like wow. Even in his recent performance for Hard, his body looks to be "snapping" in the moves...and no one compares, including HyunJin who I also think is a great dancer.

i think what jimin lacks, is the vibe where you see a dancer playing with the beat almost... He is fantastic, but he always - to me at least - looks like he's following a set choreography. The best one to follow a choreography but still look like he isn't , is Taeyang of Bigbang. Taemin is right behind him at that.
He's THE idol and doesn't even realizes! He's so down to earth, always aiming for improvement and to be a better artist, a better man. I love you Taeminnie.. Idols come and go, but you'll always hold my heart!
With all the hype around BTS in recent years, you'd think Jimin was the best dancer of all time. Although Jimin is talented and has his own style, Taemin sets the bar for the rest to follow. When music flows into him, he feels it with every ounce of his body and exudes it with pure artistry that is breathtaking to see. He's a rare talent that has it all from singing, dancing, to visuals.

Agree so much. I've seen a lot of dance covers to Move and you can really tell how difficult it is to get that choreo right. You need extreme control over your body to make those movements look good. Nobody that I've ever seen comes even close to the way Taemin dances that song.
Taemin stands out as the ultimate stage performer, excelling not just in technical prowess but also in conveying aesthetics, merging emotions, expressing personal beliefs, and showcasing a distinctive personal style, all ranking him at the pinnacle of the industry.
There are many wonderful artists in the world, but he is really remarkable ! And I think he has a good heart too... 💞

Almost everybody can take classes to learn how to dance and with a lot of training succeed in being a good dancer but not everybody has that body basic instinct that drives to feel the music just like that and he is that kind of person... He feels the music like if he was the music...😉

I saw him rated by a computer and 94.something and a professional dancer rate him by category and he is a completely clean dancer with no weaknesses in his dancing. The man said no one would ever be able to top him. I agree.
Not only that but as the video says, he was self taught. Like- usually ppl who r self taught r either stiff or they just miss a lot of aspects. Not taemin tho and its insane

I’ve been dancing since I was 2 (I’m 18 now) and I’ve competed since I was 8, wining many competitions. I’ve done tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, point, musical theatre and even dabbled in partner dancing. I can confidently that I’ve never seen a dancer as diverse and in control of every single muscle in his body as taemin. For example, his dance to move requires a lot of control in your both your back and core muscles, which is easier said then done.
taemins dance style is so intoxicating and detailed, it shows his skill and control over every inch of his body, while many have very good dance styles ( jimin, kai, rocky, j-hope..etc. ) i think taemins is the most skillful, versatile and controlled yet elegant
His movements are absolute poetry. His talent is very rare. He is a legend.

Listening and watching him dance helped me in my recovery from Covid/pneumonia. He is an amazing and talented young man. His grace and beauty, his hauntingly beautiful and powerful vocals are simply put amazing.

Not everyone can appreciate Taemin's dance style, especially the newer ones. But a legend doesn't need approval from everyone. I mean he's been approved by dancers like Koharu and Ian Eastwood, and then you have KPOP idols who idolize Taemin, isn't that enough to show people how legendary of a performer/dancer he is?
He is the full package, fantastic singing, dancing and looks. His ability to entertain is top notch. Indeed a superstar of celebrities.. Haven't seen anyone like him. My perspective isn't from a Korean sensibility. Special man who mesmerizes. Absolutely love him.

i just stumbled across Tae Min and i simply cant get enough of him, his androgenous look draws me in much like bowie and prince did in their hey day. I could watch him all day and i am sure i would never be bored. I think the U.S. needs to see him i am sure the art / theatre community would welcome his talent with open arms. . thanks for this video i am going to share this with everyone i know.
You can't learn body presence. If he wore a sack he would own it. Then you have the voice, looks and dance and you have this unique soul who uses every talent he has to entertain us. The only words to describe him are beautiful and captivating.
I don’t know if Taemin has professional dancing background but if he doesn’t, he’s quite impressive coz his dancing lines and postures are precise, as well he’s creative if he choreographed his dance numbers, from me who was a former professional dancer to you, salute & congrats for being a perfect entertainer, Taemin!

@@jazmine9429 No not quite he has been training in sm since he was in middle school. Idols, at least modern sm idols, are profesional kpop dancers. They train for decades and learn from some of the best teachers in Korea if not the world. Saying he was self taught is such an unrealistic and untrue thing to say and really diminishes the effort of his teachers and gives a skewed view of kpop in general.

I’m stunned. I think I just fell in love with all his songs at once.
I was lucky enough to see him at a SuperM concert, and he stood out as the best performer on a stage with some of the best performers in kpop. And I didn't go in as a Taemin super stan (still not, but huge fan, would pay to see him again if opportunity ever arises).

People usually put a borderline on dancing idk how to explain it but it's usually the "best MALE or FEMALE dancer" while taemin doesn't put that borderline in dancing. When you see him dance you can say "oh dance is so masculine" "he moves to feminine" all you can say is he is a great dancer that's how good he is. He's above every one when the category is dance

I have been with SHINee since debut and have so much love for Taem (one of my 2 biases) and pride for all he has accomplished! Even for a OG Shawol I loved watching this. I have shoved so many people into the SHINee vortex via Taemin and this video will go in my arsenal now! Love it! He is not a "Idol" Taem is a "Artist" and there is a huge difference. Few are on that tier.

A lot of folks don't realize how good Taemin is till you watch his backup dancers. He actually dances way better than the backup dancers and if you watch them, they can't really keep up with Taemin.

That powerful body control and nature talent he has. People sometimes mistaking that “powerful” dance by moving you body in full forces, while that actual powerful move should be done in well coordinated and right timing. Taemin did this so effortlessly like is just his body has the very own to do so. And that move at 8:12 is so hard to be done so flawlessly 😎

you know what, I am an old fan during ring ding dong & stand by me days when kpop was just booming, in the phils and I was not aware of the group, but recently I got LSS in the DCM song, and I watched all their videos and I cannot help looking at taemin, all of what you said in the video was true! he really got that aura that will get your attention and I can its really Addictive 😅 he really got me 💜
