BBC AMERICA’s Killing Eve is the thunder of empowered women working in front of and behind the camera - created, developed, produced by, and starring enormously talented women in genre roles traditionally ascribed to men. Starring SAG Award-winner Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy) and Jodie Comer (The White Princess), Killing Eve centers on two women; Eve (Oh) is a bored, whip-smart, pay-grade MI5 security officer whose desk-bound job doesn’t fulfill her fantasies of being a spy. Villanelle (Comer) is a mercurial, talented killer who clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her. Penned by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) and based on the novellas by Luke Jennings, Killing Eve will follow these two women, equally obsessed with each other, as they go head to head in an epic game of cat and mouse.
In the premiere episode, MI5 security officer Eve Polastri (Oh) is bored in her job and yearns for a more exciting life. When a Russian politician is murdered, Eve is tasked with protecting the only witness and soon finds herself on a collision course with violent and extraordinary assassin, Villanelle (Comer).
I stopped for Jodie but I literally had to pause this video to say I am so impressed with Sandra. I loved her attitude of a women driven series with absolutely no apologies for the character's sexuality. Sandra held me in the palm of her hand throughout this whole interview.

I see Villanelle when Jodie laughs. I miss the show already.

Jodie is adorable. Sandra has such fun personality. They're both smart, talented, delightful. Incredible cast. Addictive characters. It's so amusing how the writers made this psychopathic assassin with so many layers. Villanelle is insane, charming, funny, weird, bizarre. While Eve is crazy in her own way. People say they're quite the opposite but i see similarities between them. V is craving Eve's life. While Eve is craving V's life. Eve feels remorse, guilt, she knows to distinguish wrong from right but still V's lifestyle is intriguing to her. On the other side, V who's clearly a psycho is craving some normality, stability. That's why they're so obsessed with each other. The tension between them is palpable. They have an amazing chemistry.
Its incredible to hear Jodie talk, I just finished the series and lord is she talented. wow. i'm beyond impressed.
Sandra can do anything, no limits, no ceiling!
Love listening to Sandra speaking - she really thinks about and articulates things deeply.

I have been a fan and following both these ladies careers since their beginning. I'm amazed and happy to see both talented ladies working together and how far they've come.

Can you imagine James Bond or Tom cruise first question being about what it’s like to be in male dominated movie? Letting our side down by focusing on that. instead, if we treat it as the norm it will be the norm.

I really wish the interviewer was able to follow the bread crumbs left by both of these bright, deep women instead of blanking out and asking unrelatted, repetive, uninspired questions. Very disappointing.
