These types of issues are why I just can’t justify spending over a hundred dollars for a gwolves product. Their mouse being in the same ball park price as upper end Logitech and Razer is just insane.
it's honestly weird. i saw their tweets saying that US mfg. prices are so expensive, hence the price, which is confusing because they're also based in asia like pulsar and lamzu.
@@yohi_xx based on how they’ve been acting to Fresh himself lately being assholes about his review, it wouldn’t shock me if they were just using that as an excuse. To your point, the Lamzu is based out of the same region and has a thousand times better build quality than any gwolves product I’ve ever known, while also being cheaper than their recent wireless options.

Update on the Hati S+ 4K: The Hati S+ 4K will actually work properly if you find the USB port your motherboard prioritizes. In my case, it was the USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The 2.0 ports are a stuttery mess. And the 3.2 Gen 2 ports are passable but average around 3400-3500hz. Also interesting, it seems like enabling 4000Hz on wired (on a working port) actually gives all the lower input lag benefits without the smoother visuals due to being locked at 1000hz-similar to how playing above your monitor’s max frame rate lowers lag.

Def agree that a monitor refresh rate is the most tangible tech upgrade you can feel when you game. I have the viper 8khz and can’t say I mind going to a 1khz mouse, but throw me on a 144hz monitor and I’ll notice a difference after playing on 240 for so long

The lamzu Atlantis is intriguing to me, but I am also very tempted by Razer's latest offerings in the Viper v2 pro and the Dave
I’ve had the mouse for a couple days now and here are some quick takeaways: 1. 2K and 4K are not supported on wired. It will only output 1K when set to either one. The reason is not having an MCU that supports it, although this decision was done intentionally for weight reducing measures. 2. 2K on wireless is basically flawless, very impressed. 4K feels good in most situations but when testing it out on a polling rate checker, I was averaging 3900hz and getting a lot of ticks at 3300-3500hz. It’s not a steady 4000hz like it is at 2000hz and 1000hz. 3. Setting 1000hz on wired is literally perfect. I don’t expect mice to get better at 1000hz at this point. 4. I suspect something weird is happening on the mouse when playing wired and setting it to 2K or 4K. Kind of feels like 1K with interpolation, but I can’t confirm. Just keep it at 1K when wired. Hopefully someone with equipment could test this out.
I would still recommend this mouse to anyone because it still is the best performing and lightest Hati-S to date, but I wouldn’t jump on it without at least knowing what works well and what doesn’t.

So basically the Logitech G Pro Superlight
makes you think about the presale testing, was it done correctly, was it planned to come out later and pushed it too early. Big companies will go through more testing though. Either way you run the chance of other issues. Non the less it seems like they fixed it, in stream you mentioned it from the get-go, glad to see they're listening and moving quickly one it.

Hey Fresh. Completely off topic, but I’ve wanted to really give a wireless mouse a grind. Would you suggest the Starlight, the V2 Pro, or the Superlight? Za13 is honestly my favorite shape, probably because of the size so I wanted to get a second opinion. All are available to me, and I use a grip where I lay my pinky and ring finger along the side in some weird claw/fingertip grip. Thanks!
All are very different than the za13, but I’d try the viper v2. Great wireless performance and works with claw fingertip
Like, if you’re going to release a $170 flagship mouse, at least make sure the features and the quality overall justifies that hefty price. Recognising that very few companies are innovative enough to make 4khz mice, when you put something like that into the market you have to make sure it does the job out of the box. Forcing you to run around twitter and discords for solutions is not the way to go. This is just my opinion though, I hope companies take note of this situation you had. Otherwise, looks like a pretty good mouse next to Razor Deathadder but the price and shipping I would have to pay to get it doesn’t make sense for me.

No, but it seems to have been resolved so far. The firmware update as well as finding the correct USB port for the included dongle seems to have resolved my x/y differential and sensitivity / skipping issues

I had similar issues with my viper v2 and deathadder v3. USB 3.0 ports can cause wireless interference, especially at 4khz. Switching to 2.0 seriously helped. Logitech has been the best in a sense that it always feels the same no matter the usb port
Motherboards are down to usually only two USB 2.0 ports. I need one for my DAC and now one for a mouse. Better hope I don't need to update firmware on any USB devices at the same time.

I think the power switch is an horrible implementation of what is actually a good idea. Having that power switch bellow the bottom surface is something I’d want. I just don’t want to get shipped what is basically a straw to turn it on and off, make a proper tool for it, or Idk think of something else that is actually a nifty solution, this is just bad.
