I solo parented for 36 hours. Matt flew to Nashville to record some new music leaving me with the kids. I now have so much respect for single parents.

  • Just wanted to say that if you’re a single parent, we have the most respect for you. The fact that people do this day in and day out, and without support, is very inspiring! You’re incredible

  • It's weird but validating to see this as a challenge for people. This is my everyday life but with one, I can't imagine having two. It's so hard on your own especially when the other parent is not involved. I find the most challenging part is explaining why the other parent is absent. The psychical side is bareable on your own, it's the emotional side that is hard. You're an amzing mum!

  • I was there. My boys are 15 months apart. It was like having twins. They’re grown now, the best of friends (yes, they still fight but they’re very close). My husband works long hours (at the time, he was working nights), so for the first year of our kids’ lives, we were both walking zombies. I think you’re doing great. Just getting yourself dressed with make up on is a huge feat. Honestly, I was lucky to get my boys out the door on time for story time at our local library. Besides being completely exhausted, I spent a bulk of my day pumping since nursing didn’t come easy for me. Finally I gave in & started supplementing with formula which made things a lot easier. It does get better. Still, treasure every moment because it goes by way too fast.

My girls are 13 months apart......makes for exhausting days and sleepless nights, along with organized chaos at its best mixed with mom guilt we can create for ourselves over everything. My family was great on advice but nnot hands on helpling me, so I appreciate so much your parents changing their lives around (and I am sure they must be reloating to Az. I hope so nothing like grandparents for the children to enjoy and be a big part of their lives. I had no doubt you could do this, your a super woman...brave, and tough. I now know how strong my daughter is by watching you. Some people couldn't do it even in 50 lifetimes. I look up to you in that.

  • I’m a stay at home mom now with an 11 month old and 4 months pregnant with my second and to say my old corporate job was easier is an understatement. Nothing is harder than this but it’s the most rewarding. Blessed to have my husband and all the support he is. This was so so real and honest, thanks for putting this out there for people to see!

    • MrsLopez28 Abby's mom and dad live with Abby and her husband.Abby's parents help out with their grandkids. So, Abby is not during all the work (cleaning, cooking, taking care of children, etc) by herself everyday. This is just one video as if was a stay at home without any help but it is not realistic because Abby does have help everyday from her parents.

Lastly I just want to say that I love you guys so so much, you are amazing and an inspiration to everyone. Love Ronel from South Africa ❤️ 🇿🇦
