I solo parented for 36 hours. Matt flew to Nashville to record some new music leaving me with the kids. I now have so much respect for single parents.
Just wanted to say that if you’re a single parent, we have the most respect for you. The fact that people do this day in and day out, and without support, is very inspiring! You’re incredible
❤❤
🫶🏻
You are so sweet.🥹😁😁😁😁😁😁.it makes me smile 😁😁😁😊😊😊😊
Good response now 😉
❤
Major respect for parents whose life looks like this every day.✌🏼
Well at least they don’t have a full time job
@@Didennebullshit they have more than a full time job imagine working 24/7 and not getting paid a cent for it because society doesn’t value your work. Stay at home parents do way more than the average full time worker and get half the respect
Thanks
Thank you, I wouldn’t change it for anything. Proud single mama here. 💖🌸
@@ThePinkServiceBear, Correct and we don’t expect to be rewarded for it either. 💖🌸
Honestly huge thanks for y’all showing this. I became a single mom in March and my son was 18 months and my daughter 2 months. It’s beyond hard but man these kids are worth all the tears and struggles. ❤
your doing great mama
Praying for you through it all! I can promise you that your hard work is appreciated! Even though your babies are young, they still love you endlessly and appreciate you❤ God bless!
sending you love you're doing amazing!!! ❤❤
I would not be able to do that you are amazing Abby🎉❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊😊
@@idioticbagel2833 thank you
I love how y'all don't shove the camera up your kids faces. So respectful for you to not share everything about them on the internet and people are watching because of you and not the kiddos. Amazing parenting both of you!
I'm glad they don't exploit their kids anymore. So many family vloggers always exploits their kids.
They do exploit them though. Not showing the faces doesn't equal to not exploiting them. They still use them for content constantly and make money off this content.
They did but stopped cause got called out on the dad podcast.
For me, sharing the every move of your kid since birth is the opposite of ensuring their privacy and safety. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Oh well… I’ve always wanted to see griffins face he seems very cute and adorable! ❤😊
"I'm gonna miss when snacks and juice don't fix all your problems" 😂😂😂😂 Abby, you're hilarious!
I just discovered your podcast and KZhead channel! I'm a single mom of one 2-year-old, and single parenting is a lot of work, huh?! You and Matt are such a sweet couple, and you inspire me to raise my standards in a partner and have something as beautiful as you guys do one day! God bless you and your family. ❤
It continues to blow us away how single parents do it! You’re incredible! Thank you for sharing and we’re so happy you’re here
I Iove how Matt and Abby make sure their children are not shown too much on social media as very little people do it on KZhead. Also a shoutout to all those parents who are waking up to this each day. You guys are recognized for your amazing actions and your work does not go silently.
😢😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 man. .
I honestly like how honest she was about if she was doing it as a solo mom everyday and not wanting to leave with children. That took me ages to get past being a solo parent
She’s not solo. Her parents are there when she starts crying 😢😢😂😂
You can so see Abby’s love for being a mom! She is so good at it and it shows in this video🩵🩵🩵💙💙💙
I love this video. It reminds me of when I had my first 2, and my husband was working and going to college full time. You rocked it. Also, I am a vocal teacher and songwriter. I am so happy to see Matt pursuing music. He is very talented.
My parents got divorced when I was 5 so both of my parents were kind of single parents but they didn’t have to take care of us 24/7 as we switched houses. But It still amazes me how they did it. And any single parents reading this who don’t have any help, it blows my mind how you continue to persevere through the tough times. Much respect to you ✊
Love seeing this side of Abby! She is an amazing mother and Matt is an amazing father! Love you both so much.
just another reminder that Abby is a gem and we must protect her at all costs
Abby, thanks for taking us with you these 1,5 days. I loved to see you being so honest to say that you wouldnt go outside all day without any support. I also was like "omg she even planned a workout within a time that fully is a workout itself!" Impressive, Mom!
You did so well, even though it is stressful! Praying for you guys!
I love that you can still hear Griffin and see his interactions with his family! You are raising such precious boys!
I love hearing their lives from Abby’s perspective too! Normally it’s more from Matt’s, which I also love, but it’s wonderful to hear a very similar life from a different perspective! ❤
I love to see Abby being a mom, she’s so amazing. So much patience, I have no idea how you are so calm ♥️♥️
It's weird but validating to see this as a challenge for people. This is my everyday life but with one, I can't imagine having two. It's so hard on your own especially when the other parent is not involved. I find the most challenging part is explaining why the other parent is absent. The psychical side is bareable on your own, it's the emotional side that is hard. You're an amzing mum!
Right there with you, this is also my every day life with one baby. Currently in a nervous breakdown haha
I was there. My boys are 15 months apart. It was like having twins. They’re grown now, the best of friends (yes, they still fight but they’re very close). My husband works long hours (at the time, he was working nights), so for the first year of our kids’ lives, we were both walking zombies. I think you’re doing great. Just getting yourself dressed with make up on is a huge feat. Honestly, I was lucky to get my boys out the door on time for story time at our local library. Besides being completely exhausted, I spent a bulk of my day pumping since nursing didn’t come easy for me. Finally I gave in & started supplementing with formula which made things a lot easier. It does get better. Still, treasure every moment because it goes by way too fast.
You'll do great, I'm a single mom of a 5 year old & 10 month old twins. I'm solo everyday ❤
Girl pick the right man

This is most of my days I have 4 kiddos, I homeschool and we are 7weeks along with #5! My hubby works around 55/65 hours a week a hour away from home 5 days a week! Thankful we see him for breakfast and sometimes bed times. You guys are incredibly blessed to have not only family helping, but you both get to stay home😊 ❤ please enjoy the short years! The days are long but the years are short!
Griffin's thank you is the CUTEST!! Just gotta say that I've been a silent follower for a while now and I love what you guys do. Such an example of what it means to be a loving couple and it's gets me excited to be a mother in the next 5 or so years!! And makes me super excited to be a wife to my boyfriend in the near future! You are amazing and I love that you are able to be so real with what your life is like and how much you and your husband love each other and work together so well! You guys are awesome!!! Edit: It is also so refreshing to see someone enjoy being a mom so much and makes me really happy
Abby, the immediate and natural reaction from the mom sniper ears at 3:01 is on point. My girls are 13 months apart......makes for exhausting days and sleepless nights, along with organized chaos at its best mixed with mom guilt we can create for ourselves over everything. The most challenging and rewarding thing I have ever done.
This is just a normal day for many mothers.
Most mothers in the world.
Abby is such a wonderful mom! Her boys are so very lucky to have her as a mommy💛
🙌🙌🙌 -Matt 😊
Wow! Troopers…those kiddos are just adorable. To see the love from mom and dad makes my heart warm. I know it’s just a portion of the day but it’s just to cute
I have the exact same gap with my oldest two boys. You are doing fantastic! I was such a mess early on. Thank the Lord for involved husbands/fathers! 36 hours solo with two those ages really is a lot. You did awesome!
I'm impressed!! I had twin boys and I actually think your situation is harder because my boys both did everything at the same time and played together. I was fully convinced I would never shower or get dressed again when they dropped their morning nap!! You are mult-tasking on a high, high level!! You rock!
You killed it Abby! Great job! I’m a mom of two and I know how tough it can be.
Y'all are honestly such great people and awesome parents..I love y'all sm💕
My Mom was a single parent of two before she met my dad and had me. I have major respect for her. She went to school full time to become a nurse and worked 2 jobs. She slept 2 hours a night for 8 years. Because once she became a nurse she had to work.
You got this Abby and Matt! You guys build up the best couple/team!
You're going to kick butt though so don't overthink it you're an amazing mom you guys have such a strong foundation and no matter if it's both of you or one of you you are going to be great parents just like you always
You are so likable Abby. Adorable and compassionate. Bless you.
The wholesomeness in these videos always makes me smile :) You guys are grateful parents working very hard to ensure your little guys' happiness. I'm sure everyone commenting can say the same: I really enjoy these updates❤❤
Seeing Abby as a mum after knowing you all since 2020 is so precious ❤
I love babies smiles. I love their sneezes, burps, and everything they do. I definitely wanna be a mom one day, you’re so amazing for being able to do it alone.
It is just such a blessing to be a parent being a single parent taught me a lot of patience and working too prioritize things correctly you did awesome Abby
You guys are the best. I truly think you inspire everbody. You have been my inspiration to do thing. Thank you
Abby you are such an amazing mom!!! Griffen and august are both so lucky to have you guys as parents❤❤
You are a wonderful mother! You are a wonderful team! Yes, many parents do this everyday without help and work a full time job at the same time! I respect you two and your parents as well! Props beyond to the Mamas and Dads that are alone in this! Even though you said it, it needs to be said again! Abby and Matt, I know you are counting each and every one of your many blessings… because you have them beyond!
I love this!! I like that you guys do “solo” videos as well as the videos together. it’s always cute and entertaining to see your relationship dynamic, but seeing you and your individual personalities adds to the picture, and it’s cool(:
Respect to all single parents out there! ❤
Also, I'm so happy for you that Augie is sleeping better! And, there were many days when going to work as a 911 dispatcher was a lot more relaxing than being at home! 😂😂 It does get much easier and you will actually miss these days a LOT!!!
Oh how I get happy to see you guys. Just recently discovered your KZhead channel. Matt and Abby, you are major inspirations. Such beautiful people ❤❤❤
I love all of your videos but so far this one is my favorite! love seeing Abby being such a great Mother. And so excited for Matt to record his music, what a beautiful family!
Shoutout to all the single parents out there...ya'll have a LOT on the go! 🏅
she's only a single parent for 36 hours!!!!
tylerandtodd Abby's parents live with her and Matt so, they both have help around the clock. This is only one small clip of Abby by herself with her kids for a short period of time. She isn't a "single parent" by any means.
Aw y’all are such good parents!💛
As a single mom, but now the grandmother...I relate! I used to be so tired I didn't bother to eat I was just to tired. Then my sister who lives a ways away came to visit and told me I looked like "death warmed over"??? Got on the scale and no wonder my clohtes were hanging on me. My family was great on advice but nnot hands on helpling me, so I appreciate so much your parents changing their lives around (and I am sure they must be reloating to Az. I hope so nothing like grandparents for the children to enjoy and be a big part of their lives. I had no doubt you could do this, your a super woman...brave, and tough. I now know how strong my daughter is by watching you. She has four girls (all grown up now) but she has a hubby very much hands on like Matt...great couple who I have learned a lot about communicating or rather what it should be like between spouses. Your a team, a solid team. Your a great mom...and wife.. want to work in a coffee shop, trust me you don't. Your plate is full....
This really makes me appreciate all that my mother did for both me and my brother as we were growing up. She had time to work a full-time job to support us and take us to sports practices and music lessons and recitals. Amazing really.
It's hard to be a single parent, definitely, but it's also crazy hard to make up a team of two people that never lose love for each other, know how to keep the relationship alive, parent together as a team, and be happy (struggles come with it, no doubt) at the same time. Some people couldn't do it even in 50 lifetimes. I look up to you in that.
This was my life for 4 years in Washington with 2 boys (14 months apart), no family, when my husband was in the Navy. Now, we’re in Idaho with still no family but my husband is out of the Navy so he comes home every night but now, we have 3 boys. It’s slightly easier because they’re all potty trained and 2 are in school but still exhausting (just in a different way. You’re doing great, Abby!
I love how you guys never show your kids faces, it’s really all about you guys’ parent journey, and I respect that a lot!! I hope this never changes! You guys are amazing! ❤❤
Wow. Amazing. Hats off to all mums and dads, single or otherwise. Abby, you did great. 💪🏽
I have a ton of respect for Matt and even more for you Abby for supporting his music! As a parent, it’s tough to give your partner time to do stuff because you have to watch the kids which is absolutely emotionally and physically exhausting. Single parents must be hand crafted by god. On another note I just died when Abby went “and the tree says 👁️👃🏽👁️” 👄
This is totally random, but I always love seeing Abby's ThreadUp hauls, she always gets the cutest stuff!!!
Thanks for always making us these amazing vids especially with 2 under 2 Abby and Matt you both truly are the greatest people❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your content! I love how you guys enjoy things such as contact naps, and soaking up every moment with your little ones no matter how many poopy diapers you change per day ;) I LOVE it when I see a new post on my feed from you ❤
I love that Abby doesn’t care about filming her kids she only cares about if they’re happy ❤
Matt and Abby never even show the kids faces ever
@@Casey71597 They had shown Griffin's pics right after his birth.
We have seen Griffin (face wise) a few times but not the new baby (yet)
I miss seeing Griffin. We don't even know what he looks like now. It doesn't even feel like they have Augie bc they never show his face 😕
you're right! instead of showing their kid's faces they share the address of the gym/childcare facility that they use!
I love your reference to Monster's Inc 😂 We have 4 kids and our last 2 were 2 under 2. It's mental but you're doing a great job and it helps to be part of a great team. Thanks for sharing
Being a mom to two under two is so tough, especially when husbands are gone for a work trip! You are doing such a great job. You are such a good mom! I love your patience with it all!!❤
I love this video I find it so relatable. I’m a boy mom like you! My son is 8 weeks and I have 3 year old who’s going through the terrible 3’s . I’m on maternity leave right now while hubby works and I’m watching the kids all by myself most days for a lot of the time. It is HARD.
it is so incredibly respectful that she said solo parenting instead of single parenting!
Just wanted to say that I’m so so proud of you both. Abby seems like she is so happy, and in such a good place. And Matt in Nashville?? That’s amazing! God bless, both of you.
Abby you are amazing, inside and out. You are killing it at motherhood girl! I LOVED this vlog!!!! WE NEED MORE ABBY MOTHERHOOD VLOGS
I love how positive Abby is😀 She rly is amazing and seems like such and amazing mom❤❤
Yes! I love when Abby is the main vlogger! Missed her, love your family!
Me too !
you guys are the best parents ever! These kids are so lucky to have you guys as their parents❤ Much love!❤❤❤
I think that you guys have the most positive comment section I have seen. It's so refreshing! You guys are doing an amazing job with your beautiful babies.
You're doing great, Abby. You are a super mamma, I was a single mom for a while , but it was nice having my parents help when I needed it. So i know how you feel. ❤❤ you and your husband are doing great. ❤❤
I have 4 kids (ages 6,6,6,4) and my days still look like this 🤣🤣 while I do have a husband. He travels quite a bit for work and 3 of my kiddos are medically complex so there’s more to our everyday Great job Abby!
If I was an adult I don't if I could take care of young children everyday huge respect for Matt and Abby
You truly rocked it girl.! You should be so proud of yourself ❤
Awesome Job Abby, you did it! Good Luck Matt with the Recording!!!!❤
I wasn’t a single parent but I stayed home alone with my children every day because my husband worked outside the home. Every day can be a challenge but routines make a big difference.
She’s not single but good job!
The baby just sneezing into the food is beautiful LMAO I see this so often at work and I’m like “okay you enjoy your booger meal dude” ugh they’re so cute 😅
I will forever respect people who do this every day. Solo parenting is most definitely not easy. Especially with a toddler and newborn. Can't believe how good you did Abby!
i have so much respect for matt and abby! and they are such good parents and so loving
I’m a stay at home mom now with an 11 month old and 4 months pregnant with my second and to say my old corporate job was easier is an understatement. Nothing is harder than this but it’s the most rewarding. Blessed to have my husband and all the support he is. This was so so real and honest, thanks for putting this out there for people to see!
MrsLopez28 Abby's mom and dad live with Abby and her husband.Abby's parents help out with their grandkids. So, Abby is not during all the work (cleaning, cooking, taking care of children, etc) by herself everyday. This is just one video as if was a stay at home without any help but it is not realistic because Abby does have help everyday from her parents.
Can we talk about how an amazing parent Abby is
I loved this video!!! Abby, you were made to be a mom. You’re so amazing
I think you did an AMAZING job! You are a great mom! God bless y'all!,
Big pat on the back for Abby to making it through!🎉
Abby makes me happy everytime i watch her ☺️
I know right? ❤
Hi. I have major respect bc even though they don't show there kids they don't want to upset us so they show their body's and involve them in the vids. Matt and abby you guys are amazing so truthful and raw, an inspiration for the younger generation like me. I love uuuu guys ❤
I am impressed with Griffin, I thought he would be more jealous with the new baby in the house but he is so chill. He is a great kid 😊
Aww your such an amazing mom❤❤❤❤
Hi, I'm usually a silent follower but I just had to say that you are the greatest mom to your babies (Matt is also amazing with them, haha just had to include so that he does not feel out) I bet Matt was so proud of you for doing so good with the kids. Lastly I just want to say that I love you guys so so much, you are amazing and an inspiration to everyone. Love Ronel from South Africa ❤️ 🇿🇦
I love abby and matt! they try their hardest every day to be the best parents ever!! They’ve already completed that!!❤️ I love yall!
abby your a good parents to the boys and keep doing that i love you guys so much keep up the great work:D and matt i hope your doing amazing right now love you guys
New here on your channel - you guys are so authentic and real about parenting! Very inspiring! ❤
You guys are truly incredible parents. You always take life like a champ and always show both sides, the beautiful and the ugly. Love you guys! Who agrees?! ⬇️
My husband works and i do this all day, till he gets home. This is how it looks like. I have a 15 month old and a one month old.
Yes, this is what a lot of SAHM's lives look like and we don't need praise and affirmation from strangers on the internet for literally just doing our job :)
Great job mommy Abby you and your friends are the epitome of motherhood like y'all do it so well and so easy I know it's hard and you have your hard days but y'all really teach them and love them and at 45 y'all are showing me new stuff I'm loving it thank you for
Love you guys!!! Excited to see this.. ❤️🤗 You guys are great parents!!!
Imagine having to go to work on top of this. This is why being a stay-at-home mom is such a blessing
But if you are at work you miss most of the day. Not saying one is better or easier. Different kind of hard. Not comparable.
It's not necessarily a blessing it's very very hard
@@JB11334a lot of single parents work nights
Major respect for single parents or like what Abby went through while Matt was gone. They are the best parents every to there boys!😀
Well done both of you. Abby you did amazing and matt so brave following your dream in music and being away from your kids which must have been tough too. It gets easier I promise my girls are 3 and 5 now and it's so much easier xxxxx
My first 2 are 14 months apart too 🥰 it’s the best ever. Super super demanding at first but for me it got a lot easier when they were 1.5 and 2.5! They’re only 3 and 4 now but they’re little BFF’s
